MARAVILLOSO
A mi hija le causó preocupación ver a su duende lastimado, pero al verlo aliviado se puso contenta.

Perfect for little ones with injuries
My (very active) ten year old broke his leg the last week of November, and he was so depressed about having a cast. When our elf (who’s been with us for eight years) showed up on December first, he was happy to see her, but still sad about his leg.He was upset that he couldn’t do all the usual holiday things he had been looking forward to, like ice skating and sledding with his friends. The first few days our elf was here, she was doing all kinds of stunts, taking many more risks than usual. I expressed tremendous concern that she would fall and get hurt—and lo and behold, she did! Our son was shocked to come down for breakfast one morning and find her sitting on the dining room table, head in hands, her leg in a cast. The fact that she had crutches, just like him, was both alarming and comforting. It’s been a rough recovery, as our elf has not been able to do the things she loves, and even the “easy” things have been hard. She has had a few dark days, when she left some notes expressing her despair, but our son talked her through it, encouraging her to take it day by day. He’s been reassuring her that her cast will come off soon, and that she’ll be back to her old self before she knows it. Little by little, her optimism and spirit have returned, even though she’s still in the cast.I’m not sure what the North Pole doctor will say, but she looks like she’s almost recovered. In fact, her note today said she was feeling great! I expect she’ll get her cast off soon, around the same time my son gets his taken off . . . .

Super Cute
We used this after a family member had surgery. It was the perfect item for the day. We had no issues getting our elf to stand while using the crutches. It would also be cute to remind kids to clean up so the elf doesn't hurt themselves.
