Frank and Sal - Genuine Grana Padano Aged 24 Months Italian Import. (3 Pound)

Not as sharp or tart as aged Parmagiana Regiano, but similar and very delicious! :-) We'd never even heard of a Grana Padano, but we took a chance on it and wow, what a treat. Great cheese! Thank you, Frank and Sal (and Amazon, of course), for getting it to us quickly and still fresh and so scrumptious. We love it! Your pasta and other dishes won't miss the Parm Reggie at all. ;-) Recommeded.

I live in a very small town and could not find a good Parmesan cheese that was aged beyond 10 months. Then I found this one and wow! It is so good, rich and nutty like an aged Parmesan should be. It worked beautifully in my Lasagna Bolognese with Béchamel sauce. It arrived perfectly packaged, vacuum sealed and with ice packs. Great job to the folks at Frank and Sal Italian Market!

This cheese stands alone in flavor...it enhances any dish with savory and nutty richness. It is also excellent eaten by itself with a glass of wine.

I'm from Italy and this is what we buy at the local supermarket. I rarely see it here in America actually I can say I've never seen it in the states. Saw it on Amazon and it's so expensive compared to Italy so I never bought it. I pulledcthe trigger last week for a Sunday family dinner I was having. The flavor brought me back to the motherland. It was wrapped very well and had an ice pack to keep it chilled. The ice pack was melted by the time I got it but was still cold. I looked for the reviews to see exactly what I would get and what a shocker out of all the reviews not a single review with pictures. Essentially leaving all these reviews useless. I will never ever ever ever understand how someone can leave a review without posting pictures. So for those that appreciate seeing what you get and look for pictures on reviews I am happy to say I'm the first to do so. This is definitely grana. It's delicious. I am happy with the purchase and don't think it's super super expensive for what you get. I will order again.

Nicely packaged with care; in a large metallic bubblewrap sleeve with 2 proportionately large cooling gel packs; still cool/cold to touch upon unwrapping. The 1 pound block is approximately 5.5" by 5." by 1.5" thickness; vacuum sealed. Authentic Italian rhine stamp. Care instructions included...nice touch! Can't wait to actually taste it in my Tuscan chicken or Tuscan shrimp recipe! 😋 Will update!
