Are both lenses 55m for filters?

Hi unfortunately they are different sizes. The 18-55mm lens needs a size 55mm filter but the 70-300mm will need a 58mm filter. Hope this helps.

Can i use Black and White film in this camera?

Nikon D3500 digital camera Picture Control can be set to take Monochrome pictures, as well as copy pictures already taken and turned them to monochrome copies. This camera does not accept any type of film.

Whether this 18-55 is vr or non vr?

This kit includes the D3500 camera, the AF-P DX NIKKOR 18–55mm VR zoom lens, and the AF-P DX NIKKOR 70–300mm VR super-telephoto zoom lens.

Do the lenses come with lens hoods? The kit components do not seem to be listed?

My kit only included one lens, the 18 - 50 zoom, which did NOT have a lens hood. It is awkward for a lens hood to cover wide angle to telephoto without incurring vignetting.
