Hello. I bought this product mainly because it's used quite regularly in the medical industry, so i bought the most for least. I also needed these to waterproof my band-aids, and after enough practise they work perfectly, but the trick is to get as much air out of the wrapping as possible; they need to lie flat against the skin. I tend to measure the length and width of the bandage and allow one inch of clearance on all sides of the bandage for extra stability, and I'll cut and apply the tegaderm accordingly. If I place them on high-elasticity areas such as the arms or legs, I'll flex the limb a bit to stretch the skin and place the tegaderm on the skin, because the tegaderm will flex only to a degree. I use all spare pieces unless they're too small, even to cover or overlap other pieces with.

I use this on every tattoo I do and I never have any issue very good pricing for a quality product that does its job without to harsh of adhesive!!

It really work for my tattoos

I bought these to cover my husband's LVAD dressing when he showers. He absolutely can NOT allow it to get wet so it is really important that he has something reliable to keep it dry. I tape gauze over the dressing, then put this over the entire site and he has not had any water leaks, ever (knock on wood). I love that there are many different sizes so depending on what I missed or how I did that day, I can get as big or as small of a piece as I need without cutting weird shapes into it and wasting any. With so many sizes, you have exactly what you need, there is no loss. Just cut off however much you need from the roll, peel the backing off, stick it where to want it, then peel the front off. Presto! The covering is on. It bends and moves around all kinds of curves and angles. It stays on unto you take it off. My husband says it does not hurt coming off, it comes off easily, and since I put the gauze on as a barrier, it doesn't stick to his dressing, it sticks to the extra gauze. The only thing I would change about this is where it is made: China.

I can use this on 90% of my clients. The other 10% have skin reactions. There are other more expensive brands to choose from that will be less irritating, and you can save that for the sensitive crowd. Buy this and use it on everyone else.
