Etymotic Research ETY-Plugs HD-Safety Earplugs in Polybag Package - Large Fit, Clear Stem

I am a music teacher who needed them post stroke (sensitive to loud sounds now). They were a God send for fire drills, indoor recess, band concerts, etc. They wash up well. The carrying case makes them easy to travel with. They were a Godsend. I tried using them in the classroom, but I could not hear most people talking with them in. On days I had extra loud instruments (recorder, drums), I would just remove one ear to hear people talking and then put it back in to play. Well worth the money, still using the same pair 2 years later.

I was traveling and forgot to take my earplugs, so I bought another pair to keep in my luggage. They are so effective against loud sounds, including music. I already have hearing problems and excessively loud music is painful and a little scary as I can't hear as well as normal for a day or so afterward. These were recommended to me by a musician friend who played standing in front of enormous speakers onstage. He said they saved his hearing, and I believe it! Highly recommend! Great price, too!

I'm a mechanic and I've been wearing these all day everyday for years now. They're fantastic. Quiet without being muffled, can still carry a conversation just fine. Can pop them half out to talk on the phone. I go through a couple pairs per year.

These earplugs are amazing! Perfect sound response with reduced sound level. I use them all the time at work with 5-10min Brakes every hour or two. I advise it to all my colleagues and you the person reading this review :)
