A fragile racket
This was a disappointing product. I bought it at a small local sports shop, and I foolishly tossed away the receipt, as I was told that the warranty only applies if the racket breaks during use with no sign of trauma, ie it being smashed against a wall or floor. I had never broken a racket before during play so it seemed pointless keeping the receipt. The racket lasted a few weeks until the wooden handle broke while I was taking a shot. I was unable to get a refund or replacement as Yonex only takes back their products through the store itself, and as I had no receipt I was out of luck. I ordered another of the same racket, as I had been pleased with the way I was playing it. This one broke in almost the same spot after a few months of playing. Fortunately I still have the receipt so should be able to get a refund. I will certainly buy a different racket, as I have never before had one break, and this model has broken twice.On the plus side, as I said, it is a good racket to play with, a good balance of power for clearing shots and lightness for defence.
