This item is so beautiful to have. I love this item. The illustrations are beautiful. I haven't had it long. But so far it is such a beautiful item. And I love the wizard of oz. It is such a great item to have for the collection. I love this item a lot.

Most beautiful book Ive seen in a while.. and look at the little people! Its perfect.

This is a lovely small book that could fit in a nightstand drawer or on a shelf or bookshelf without having to move the shelf above it higher. The quality of the cover and paper is high and it doesn't have any odor too it like varnish or pulp paper. This is suitable as a gift for anyone but maybe best for an adult to hang onto and read to younger fans of The Wizard of Oz, because the typefont is not very large and the line spacing is not big enough for beginning readers. It seems geared toward gifts for grownup readers, or as an heirloom book you could give to younger folk for them to have later. I was surprised that the pictures inside are not in full color, because the cover is so colorful and it's called "painted editions." There are some occasional illustrations but they are not distracting and they feel more like ambiance when they appear and less like a focal point. It's a lovely book and a pleasure to handle and read.

This edition of The Wizard of Oz is absolutely stunning. The illustrations are so rich and whimsical, it feels like stepping into Oz all over again—even if you already know the story. Each page is a visual treat, making it perfect for both longtime fans and new readers. Honestly, even the Wicked Witch looks fabulous. A true collector’s gem!

I decided to treat myself to a Wizard of Oz book as this was my ultimate fav childhood movie ever! This book did not disappoint :) Not only is it well made, its absolutely beautiful and enjoyable and looks amazing on my shelf. I’ve already read it multiple times and will keep reading it again.

Nice enough edition but I was expecting illustrations of the characters or places in the story. All there was were vague and similar looking pictures of fields. Very disappointing.

Lovely books have beautiful cover

Beautiful cover with 3d feel, it's not flat like a painting which I assumed, it's like moulded 3D. Absolutely gorgeous gold edging. I love this design. But returned because it was scuffed and marked and the spine was bent/crumpled - not good enough for a special edition book. This should be sent in better packaging to protect from damage in post.

The book is beautiful and I love it but it is missing the sleeve that comes with each of the books in the collection. This is unfortunate because the rest of the collection has them.
