Ground Station!
Great component for my FPV ground station system!Aluminum body looks and feels rugged. I had no problems with QC on my unit, all connectors are present and spoken for, and work correctly.Reception is excellent. I had no abnormal breakup flying my Hubsan H502S on it using an old television I had laying around. The power connector says "12v input", however the receiver module housed inside is rated down to 7.0v, so it works perfectly fine on a 2s LiPo. (This has been tested and confirmed.)The receiver does get modestly warm after using it for a while, however this appears normal. Receiver does not have any weird "blue screen", and passes any signal (or static!) that it receives through. I can't speak for the screen device you connect it to.I bought this to use as a tandem ground station screen set and DVR recorder, and it will fill this role fine. The power jack is a 3.5mm barrel connector with a positive core. The included power cable has a JST-female port. It will work great on 2-3S batteries. The two analog output cables are 2.5mm "headphone" connectors, like you used to see on phone headset connectors. The pinout is non-standard!!The ring closest to the cable is common. The next ring is audio out. The third ring is video out. The "tip" of the connector is /not connected/! Bear these in mind if you wish to build your own AV cables for this.-- Coming back here for additional commentary. It looks like the unit has been revised and/or altered since I bought mine. Another reviewer bought theirs and encountered problems with my review and specifically my comment above, as the unit had been revised to use a more standardized cable.I offer my apologies to the user I led astray, and any others affected by this problem.

Great RX
Good and cheap. Used it to pipe analog into V2 goggles. Had to buy one more cable because the goggles input jack is a mini not rca. Cheap mod. Great reception!!The included antenna is good as well.

Contacting the seller but it lasted 1. 5 sessions ...
Contacting the seller but it lasted 1.5 sessions before it stopped showing channel/frequency numbers. Worked decent for those 1.5 times but not im left with a $25 paperweight

Good value
This receiver is better than the stock receiver in an ev800 or viper google monitor. I use it in an entertainment room connected to a projector for passenger use. There is no blue screen when the signal gets weak, and the range is great. There is a little lag in the video being processed by the projector I know, I'm not sure of the lag with a good lcd, so I don't use it to fly with, I use my goggles, but for passengers it is great.

Hard to beat, good little video receiver!
I purchased several of these so I could connect them up to a DVR and record Tiny Whoop quadcopter races. So far I have only used them inside, but they seem to work fine. We used the Raceband channels and no problems at all. Signal came in clear for the most part, some static is expected since we are using analog technology. I used them with the stock antenna as well.

Does the very minimum, but does it.
Well, like the headline says. It does the minimum, but it does do it. I think that warrants a 3 star review. I'll save the 5 stars for a version that has some added functionality, like a scan function.I didn't get my first FPV drone in a kit, and before my goggles arrived, I got this thing. I wasn't entirely prepared for what arrived. The first thing that smacked me was the power supply, or lack there of. I guess this shouldn't have been so much of a shocker, but it was a little annoyingly. This is something you should be aware of as a buyer though! I picked up a power supply off amazon here, and had no further issues. I wasn't looking for a battery hookup, which is what comes standard.I didn't know what the channel my drone was on, as it was my first FPV drone. It was frustrating because this thing has no scan function. I even looked all over amazon looking for one that did (I still want a device like this, even with goggles, so I can include my friends to watch). It's just one of those products that it doesn't seem like anyone bothered to make a better version of, because this one was "good enough", but sometimes good enough isn't that great.A 5 star version, hmm. It'd have a DVR record function, USB-C, a scan function, two antenna connectors, and a slightly refined button/display setup.

DO NOT PLUG IN THE RED PLUG, yellow is video out...
It works great took some time setting it up. At first I only got static with no picture tried everything I could think of. Just wouldn't work. The next morning I Google the model number after about 15 minutes came across a forum.. the wiring plugs are wrong. . Yellow=video, red = nothing (do not plug this in).. if you plug this in you will not get a picture.. works great after that. . Happy flying folks
