CRESSIAdult Diving Dry Snorkel with Splash Guard and Top Valve - Supernova Dry: Designed in Italy

We are in Cancun now and this snorkel tube is amazing! I now have three of these and they all are just perfect. Very comfortable, easy to breathe, and no getting water in your mouth or lungs. Extremely well made. I truly cannot recommend this enough, if you’re trying to decide on one just get this one trust me. I have one left that is different and after this trip I will be replacing it with another one of these. Happy to have found these, you never know these days if it will be good or not but these are money well spent.

This is the second Cressi snorkel I have purchased and am now reviewing. The first one was the more expensive, so supposedly better, Cressi Alpha Ultra Dry, and I reviewed that snorkel here:https://www.amazon.com/review/R3O2ULYGVZ6VDC/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00BX51IUCIn a nutshell, I was not happy with it because for some reason, while using it extensively for a week in Bonaire, I found that it was letting some water in when less expensive snorkels I had used in the past did not.I was still confident in the Cressi brand, so after returning it, I replaced it with the Cressi Supernova Dry Snorkel that I am reviewing here. I am only submitting this review now, several months after my purchase, because I did not have the opportunity to try it out until just now. I am happy to report that for me, this less expensive snorkel in the Cressi line, actually works better. I used it under various conditions over several days recently, and not once did I have the water intrusion problem that I had with the "better" Cressi snorkel. (To be fair, my wife is still using the better model, and she did not have the issues I had.)This Cressi Supernova snorkel works as a good snorkel should. The detachable clip makes it easy to attach and detach it from your snorkel mask. It simply does not allow water in while you are snorkeling. You can free-dive with it, and when you surface there is not water that needs to be cleared, or at least there wasn't for me the few times I free-dove with it. I got this for my first try at snorkeling on my Belize vacation. I was a complete newbie, and was able to jump right into the Caribbean and swim over a coral reef! Had no issues with using this, water stayed out and it was easy to breathe. This snorkel was just like a snorkel to me. Highly recommended

Only used for 3 days so far. Worked well. Kept water out. I dropped it in the surf and got a bit of sand stuck in the valve that keeps water out. After a minute or two I was able to get the pebble out and it worked great again.

I tried these in the pool right after buying them, but the buckle does not click into the clip the way it is intended to, and so it took me quite a long time to get the mask and snorkel to stay together at all. I think the snorkel is really nice. I've been using a snorkel now for about 1 1/2 years, and I can tell a big difference in quality with the Cressi brand. It's very nice. I have contacted the seller regarding the buckle/clip issue, and I'll let you know if they respond.They replied to me immediately, and showed me with a picture what I was doing wrong. I misunderstood how to put the snorkel and mask together using the clip provided. I'm very satisfied with their response, and recommend this snorkel to anyone. It's very comfortable, and I feel like I'm breathing much easier with it.

Mouthpiece fits in my mouth very comfortably. It was easy to attach to my mask and worked well when I dove down or swam on the surface.

my 25 year old mask started leaking. Got new mask & matching snorkel. They are much better now. This middle priced set is great for my needs. We are advanced open water divers & go on 1 big trip per year at this point in our lives.

Purchased for my son. He only uses this one now. He hasn't experienced any problems.
