SalomonWomen's QUEST ELEMENT GORE-TEX Leather Hiking Boot

I have problems with my ankles ( always rolling and tearing them ). I have to wear a brace to do everything . I own a pair of low ankle Salomon’s and love them but wanted to see if something high ankle would help .When they arrived and I opened the box I thought “ oh no they sent me men’s size !” They looked huge ! But I looked an indeed they were women’s size. So I tried them on and laced them up and immediately could tell they would be supportive. Went hiking ( I’d say I’m intermediated ) and got lost lol and ended up doing 6.5 miles in my new boots. My feet were not sore at all and no blisters ! I’ve been caught in storms , mud and walked through creeks not one drop of water on my socks. I’m sold and so glad I bought these and so far haven’t even come close to rolling my ankle :)

Absolutely comfortable they don’t run bigger then some reviews state but they do run which is odd for Salomon wide in the toe box. So they at not for a slim foot! For mine they are just perfect! Right out of box I was able to do a rid snow walk with them . They keep foot stable and that’s what I was hoping for. I sure got this!

LOVE these boots, the comfort level on them is great! They do however run large. Suggest sizing down a half size to a full size when ordering.

I got these boots for my wife since she has issues with her ankles. They are a bit heavy to walk around in but for walking in deep snow they are great.

Just the look of them is awesome!!!! Very comfortable!!!! Stable! Definitely my favorite boots!!!

Cómodas, excelente material y llegaron antes de lo esperado

I loved my previous Salomons which I had for years but these (and other styles) now have several hard protrusions that create pressure points. They seem to have cheaped out on the padding which is so crucial for long hikes. These weren't even comfortable just walking around the house. So disappointed. The color and style is as pictured.

They are too heavy n also y rubs on my Ankle like literally after 2 minutes I had a red blister in my feet

Solo las he usado 2 veces, una haciendo scrambling y la otra senderismo, antes de eso solo había usado tenis deportivos para hacer estas actividades y mis pies terminaban destrozados con una caminata de 3 horas en terrenos con pendientes importantes.Tomando en cuenta una ruta que he hecho varias veces, mis piesitos estan como si nada después de terminar. En general las botas me parecen muy cómodas, solo creo que he batallado para encontrar la tensión indicada en las agujetas y creo que me quedaron un poco grandes; regularmente en tenis soy 25.5 mexicano (8.5 americano) pero estas botas las pedí 26 MX (9 americano) ya que me pareció mas apropieado por la naturaleza del calzado.En ocasiones cuando subo por pendientes inclinadas me rozaba un poco la parte trasera del pie y era incómodó, después me ajusté mas las agujetas y dejó de pasar o eso parece.La verdad con ellas me siento todo terreno, no se si estas botas son muy buenas o cualquier bota de senderismo hubiera tenido el mismo efecto en mi piesito.

O cadarço é pequeno para a amarração de segurança que costumo fazer!!!!Por isso, algumas vezes desamarrou!!!Estou comprando um cadarço maior. Ok resolve, mas é mais custo!!

The shoes are extremely comfortable and durable, just what I needed for hiking.
