Update on Review
After drinking this tea for a few days my entire family is convinced that this tea has added unnatural caffeine in it. We are long term black tea drinkers and this has a very fake feeling. WOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - Their return policy is not appropriate at all. The product is not returnable. Any company that does not stand by its product should not sell on Amazon.

Don’t buy this tea.
Don’t buy this tea. I drink tea everyday, several times a day. I drink only black teas. This tea is Assam and should have bold and rich flavor. This tea has no flavor. Lipton is stronger than this stuff (which I do not use). I used for one cup, 2 tablespoons of loose tea and steeped for 5 minutes- that was mot enough to make a nice strong flavorful cup of tea. I don’t know what the story is with this tea, but I should have known that a bag this large of organic tea should cost more than this did. Don’t buy it- not worth it. Can’t be returned and I hate to waste anything but this may end up in the trash.

Read my update on 3 stars for this ASSAM tea
I am updating my review from 5 to 3 stars. This is because there are quite a number of stems and I am unable to discern any "tippy golden" pieces in this which does not make this a TGFOP grade tea. While the tea is still ok for its price, I will not order again. This is purely on principle. I do not support companies who do not honestly label their teas. After reading many of the reviews I did hesitate but then decided to order this tea. I have not been disappointed. It arrived tightly packed in a mostly opaque resealable bag. Some reviewers had expressed concern about the see through nature of the packaging. It really is only a narrow horizontal band toward the bottom of the package. Not a concern to me since I always transfer mine to tea tins immediately. Even if I wasn't doing that, I would just put it in the cupboard and it would be fine. I will say though it doesn't thrill me it comes in plastic (Not eco friendly). Anyway, on to the tea....it is a nice leafed tea....I am not qualified to say whether it is or is not GTFOP. It does have a nice Assam flavor. I brewed a cup immediately after I received it because the smell was so delicious. Yes there are more expensive Assams and yes I have tasted some really top notch Assam teas.....but I paid a whole lot more. that being said, this is an excellent tasting tea that is priced very reasonably. I would say it was a great deal and I am sure I will be ordering this same tea in the future.

Updated review 6/18
I don't like leaving negative reviews however, I'm not a tea connoisseur but i am a regular tea drinker... i brewed 1Tbsp of this tea in 212° hot water for 3.5 mins... Absolutely the weakest tea I've ever tasted. No classic Darjeeling aroma or taste at all... Very disappointed. So i experimented with brewing this tea at different amounts and brew times and was not able to achieve an enjoyable cuppa. I've included photos of Organic Avongrove Estates Darjeeling i purchased from my regular tea supplier (Upton Tea Company) next to Positively Teas offering. Two completely different teas... Two completely different tastes as well. Upton Teas' offering is vastly superior in every way (appearance, aroma, taste)... I bought this tea on Amazon from Positively Tea because i thought i was getting a great deal on a great tea. I did not get either...Ivisited Possibly Teas' website and the tea they have listed there under this description looks like a darjeeling tea, tippy, bright, full leaf,etc... While this tea i purchased may be a Darjeeling from Avongrove Estates it is a much lower quality tea offering. Perhaps a second or third lot purchase on their part. Or it might have been sitting around in a warehouse somewhere and has lost all its flavor and aroma? Or maybe it was mislabeled?Who knows. Now I'm stuck with a tea that is pretty much undrinkable.Update 6/18/18 - I now use this tea for cold brewed iced tea. I steep this tea in a large covered pitcher of water in the fridge for 12-24 hours. It makes great cold brewed ice tea! It's funny but the cold brewing process really brings out the toasty/nutty/floral fragrance and taste profiles. Whoodathunk?

very disappointing
I've been buying this brand of Assam loose tea for a good while now and thought I'd try this English Breakfast blend since Assam tea is usually the dominant flavor used. While the tea is generally a good example of what an English Breakfast blend consists of, and does taste good, it is hugely disappointing that it is made from the tiny bits of flakes that are normally used in tea bags and rarely in loose tea. These tiny flakes are the cheapest of the cheap in terms of the tea making process and would have been thrown in the trash in the days before tea bags were invented. To charge a premium for it here is unconscionable. This brand of Assam tea is an example of a high quality tea with the long dried leaves you'd expect and demand. As I mentioned ,the taste is good and it is a proper blend, but the tiny flakes are a big nuisance when making loose tea, making it difficult to clean the tea pot and the strainer. If you do not mind this type of tiny flake or 'dust', then your rating would be much different. I rate it one star based on the fact that I would not purchase it again and that the company is cheating the public by selling the leftovers of tea production as premium tea.

A Bag of Dust
I've purchased this English Breakfast Tea many times in the past few year, always being pleased with the bold sharp flavor and the quality of the loose leaves. However, this last time the bag comprises of 90% of tea dust with of course compromises brewing and flavor as well. I'm very disappointed.

Worst chai ever !
How this passed as organic is beyond me. Very misleading! Natural ginger is not organic, vanilla and cinnamon flavoring is not either. Smell is awful and taste is the worst chai I have ever had. It smells like cinnamon pine cone decorations at Christmas. listen to the bad reviews and don't make my mistake. They clearly do not offer a 100% money back guarantee. They do not give any way to contact and it is not returnable.
