how long does it stay frozen/cold?

It stays cold for abt a half hour then tapers off. You have the second one on standby but you should always follow 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off rule with icing so after the 1st one does its job, you shouldnt need the second one right away.

The thickness of ice pack is about 3/4 inch. The total length of this strap is 46 inches. The part that goes over your back (the pack portion) is 14 inches long and 8 1/2 inches high. I love it. can i sit in recliner for half hour

it will feel tight when sitting. sit with it loose around your waist will work. get a cold pack by flexi it great put it on your back and kick back. i use one all the time there great......sevenhorses out
