I used these to hold down a large Halloween spider web, and some of my larger decor that I don't want blowing over in the wind. You never know what weather you're going to get in Utah it could be sunny one day and snowing the next. So, I used these to secure my decor and it did wonderfully. We had rain and wind and nothing budged or twisted. There's so many that come in the box that I'm definitely going to use them for summer projects or anything I need to keep sturdy. Also, some of my decor is quite heavy and with a few of these none of them popped out.

I used these landscape staples as a stake at the bottom of a welded wire fence used to contain dogs. The dogs are not particularly powerful when it comes to desire to exit the area. The staples are easy to use, just use your foot or better a hammer to push them into the ground. Our ground isn't too rocky or compacted so this was not an issue. They are positioned between fence posts, one staple used to stake down a provide additional strength and durability to the fence line. I do wish they were longer. These are not quite long enough for the purposes they are being used for in my case. Pros: functional and sturdy Cons: were not long enough for my use

These ground staples are just the right size to securely anchor things to the ground. If the ground is soft enough they can be pushed into the dirt by hand. Otherwise slight tapping with a hammer will also seat them. I used them to anchor a soaker hose in a flower bed. They work fine and are almost invisible.
