I suffer from Cervicogenic headaches and neck pain and this is the ONLY stuff that has ever helped besides getting knocked out at the er for a "migraine" this will be my 3rd order. I suggest applying with disposable gloves. Every warning you see about the heat is true. So be careful. But I'd rather feel the burn and be okay instead of curled up in a ball of misery.

I used this and it worked well for me (relatively quickly even). But for my wife, she got no effects at all. I think the main ingredient really varies from person to person.Maybe it would have worked for her at a higher strength, but I don't think I would have liked that version as much. It made my skin warm but not unpleasant. For her, she felt no warmth at all. We used the same tube and the same amount.

I got this product for my back and for me, it works better than any of the other topical treatments (that includes lidocaine, Diclofenac, Aspercreme and Blue Emu). However.......I just tried it on my knee and it burns like crazy! Like an unbearable sunburn. And it does not wash off.When I use this product in my back, I get some heat, but not real bad. This product will last all day once applied and even seems to reconstitute during workouts or when sweating.Highly recommended for back, but not so much for knees. Also, if you don't want the heat sensation on your hands, use medical gloves for applying.

So I have these salonpas patches that have capsaicin in them and they're really the only thing that helps with my shoulder bursitis. Unfortunately I'm a sweaty person and so I can't use them at work which is where I really need them. So I thought this product would help with that!! Oh how wrong I was!! You'll see in the picture my raw skin that is still burning the most intense pain I've ever felt from a rash and my skin is so sensitive I can't even wear a bra!! I tried washing it off 5 minutes after I put it on I tried aloe and a cream-based burn cream but any and everything I put on it just made the burning so much worse and my shoulder still hurts so it didn't even help that. The patches have a slight warming sensation but not this intense painful burning that caused my skin to become raw!! The instructions say there might be a burning sensation that generally disappears after several DAYS!!! I am really hoping and praying that they mean "several days" If you continue to use it not this one small dime size amount I put on will cause this burning pain for days!! But the fact that my skin is is raw as it is makes me wonder whether or not days is actually an optimistic measurement!!

Works great for pain relief but be very careful. A little goes a long way. Too much and you can be on fire! Water activates it, so don't use water and soap if you're trying to deactivate. It makes it worse. Read up on what would work/what you have on hand BEFORE you get in that situation. Dawn dish detergent worked for me.The warning on the box should be LARGE and be the first thing you see. Many people may not be familiar with the ingredients (me, and it's HOT peppers!) and could have trouble reading that teeny tiny print (me again!)Just start with a little, you can always use more, but hard to get it off if you use too much.Also, it doesn't feel hot at first, so wait at least , 20 mins before applying more.

OK, this is a product to handle with care. I expected the instant burn of most sports cream. It was applied to my back and I waited....oh, all of ten minutes. We reapplied more. Felt a soft warming and it did help.I had to get ready to go out about an hour later. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get this wet!The fires of hell attacked me in the shower. I felt like I was flayed alive and showering in lava. I made many odd sounds and the dog thought I had gone mad. He and the cat are still certain that there are monsters in the tub and patrol the area with ruffs raised and growls. This is a great product, but DO READ the instructions. They are not just for show. BTW once I stopped being dramatic, my back did feel much better.
