Bandai Hobby Figure-Rise Standard Perfect Cell "DRAGON Ball Z" Building Kit

Bandai Hobby gives you the opportunity to build something that you will love at an affordable price. It was a bit overwhelming when I opened the box and saw the sets of all the pieces, but as soon as I started building it I got extremely excited to finish (it took me less than 4 hours). The colors, the texture of Cell's skin and the poses it can do are amazing. It does not come with an action stand. I read a review that said that giving this to a child wasn't a great idea, but I differ. If a 9 - 10 yo child loves to build puzzles or legos (and in this case DBZ, of course) BANDAI HOBBY figures can make a great gift, I would have personally loved this as a child as much as I do now. Can't wait to buy another character!

I gotta say, I bought this bc I thought the figure looked cool. After I ordered, I saw it was a serious amount of assembly, but decided not to cancel. Glad I stuck with it- I really enjoyed putting this together. It’s cool to see how all the little pieces add up to the whole when it’s not obvious. Looking forward to building Gohan tomorrow! (And yes, it looks great)

I am a huge fan of all things DBZ. I am building a collection of statues and figures slowly. In my idiocy I didn't even notice that this was a model kit. I just saw the picture and wanted it. It was fun to assemble, there were a few frustrating pieces but I had a good time. The figure is gorgeous once it is finished. It is very poseable and comes with additional hands for when you want to change things up. There is an additional face to put on when you want. There is a separate fireball prop that you can use if you like. The figure is very fragile once it is together. Changing poses often broke it apart in areas. This isn't a big deal because it isn't a toy. This was my first Figure Rise Standard figure and I am pleased with the look and quality for the price I paid. Don't hesitate.

This is the best thing I have ever bought, every Dragon Ball Z fan should own one! It took about 5 Hours to build and was a lot of fun! Because they are plastic, be sure to take care when removing the pieces from the runner. I used nippers to cut them out leaving a 5mm edge that could be pulled off or filed down. Dont just push the pieces out as this could cause white marks on the plastic. I loved building this so much I already ordered another Figure-rise package to build next :-)

Price is great, I got it for $23.22.. Sculpt is awesome, it scales well with SH Figuarts, dragon ball action figures since Cell is taller than the Z fighters to begin with ( anime wise, not sure about the manga version though ).. Color's not accurate so you have to paint it. You might have to glue/ cement to secure the parts together specially if you're doing different kinds of action poses, just like what I did with my kit... Overall, I recommend this kit because of the price and if you want a Cell that would blend with your SH figuarts display

If you're not sure whether or not you want to buy this let me tell you, this one is so worth it. I was skeptical of the reviews because I've bought model kits in the past that had positive 4-5 star reviews and it turned out to be garbage.. This one is amazing. I had some issues with the interchangeable hands though. Kinda loose. Also doesn't come with an action base so the poses are limited and it takes a second to get it balanced. Like I said though the quality is amazing.

Very good figure, but the plastic these models use is very fragile and will break with any moderate force even then not any force, just over time the joints will snag and start to twist and break off..

These are incredibly fun to build and the look really cool. Not painting necessary, everything you need is in the box. This Cell one in particular is great too. I want the whole set but they're pretty pricey.

Bellissimo modellino da montare, molto d'impatto; dipingere i dettagli, le ombre e passaggio finale con spray trasparente opaco lo rende ancora più bello e meno plasticoso. Secondo me è molto meglio della controparte SH Figuarts.

Be warned for anyone who comes here clueless as i did, This is a "build-it-yourself" model with hundreds of pieces and at least 3 layers of pieces to put this together. Took me a couple of hours but i did rather enjoy the hard work in itself and appreciated it even more when done.

This cell figure is great but it is very delicate and pieces keeps falling off, Great to look at but not for playing.

Très belle figurine du guerrier suprême! Taille et finition au top! Tout est de qualité. Envoi parfait malgré l’expédition du Japon! Montage simple mais plaisant! Un bon scalpel et le tour est joué! Ich habe mich extrem auf diese Art von Figur gefreut, da ich bereits massig Bilder vom Figure Arts - Cell gesehen hatte, habe ich immer gehofft, es würde irgendwann einmal, ein Cell auf den Markt kommen, der auch wirklich ausschaut wie Cell. Bandai hat alles richtig gemacht, einer der besten Figuren, in meinem Regal. Der Aufbau: Es gibt eine Anleitung, diese ist auf Englisch übersetzt, Bilder untermalen das ganze, sehr einfach im Aufbau, ich empfehle eine kleine Pfeile oder Sandpapier um kleine überbleibsel zu entfernen. Die Verarbeitung: Ich habe sehr viele hochqualitative Figuren, und dieser Cell, muss sich nicht verstecken! Die Farben sind super getroffen und die Details fabelhaft. Genau wie im Anime, zugegeben, das Gesicht ist immer noch nicht perfekt, trifft aber sehr gut das Orginal. Die Figur / Teile ist komplett aus Kunstoff gefertig, was hochwertiger erscheint als gedacht. Der fertige Cell: Er sieht brachial aus, sehr Detailiert und besitzt ein solides Gewicht, eine schöne größe und lässt sich in viele Posen setzen. FAZIT: Wer einen Cell sucht, der wunderbar aussieht, ordentlich verarbeitet ist und ein hingucker ist, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch. Einziges Manko, alles selbst zusammenbauen und bitte die Teile ein wenig nachschleifen, damit es einfach schöner und wie aus einem guss wirkt. Ein wenig Zeit und Geduld sollte aber jeder DBZ Fan zu diesem geringen Preis aufbringen können.
