Works for my iPhone 7+ with a bumper case Great !! Took on my cruise to use as a selfie stick and as a friend pod to use as a timer worked great also hung from the ships rails and rental cars rear view mirror and shot time lapse used with my iPhone 7+ with a small speck bumper case I don't think it would work with an otter box but should be fine if you use a bumper style case

The legs hold great, they move when you want them to, but stay in the position that you put them in. I can mount my Canon SX30 IS to the top and the legs do not seem to have any real problem with it. The Phone clamp is VERY strong, there's no way it's going to drop my phone. I like that there is a quick-release button for the attachment head. That all being said, the biggest downside, and it's really annoying, is that the Ball and Socket that connects the Head to the Legs is weaker than I'd like it to be. What I mean is that I've accidentally pulled the socket off the ball SO many times while trying to open the clamp to get my phone out. It pops right back on so it's not like it broke, but I have to make a concerted effort to remind myself to check the tightness of that ball-and-socket joint. This also causes issues with it holding the Canon when the head is not straight up and down. All in all for less than $20 it's an amazing substitute for the Joby GorillaPod Hybrid, which is a whopping $40.

Very handy to use. If you have a + size phone (i.e., 6 plus or 7 plus), the phone adapter takes a bit of pulling to get it to fit. Forget about it if you have a large case on top of the phone!Quality is a bit chintzy. I have easily pulled the whole thing apart (when removing the + sized phone b/c it's so big and requires some pulling), but thankfully the ball bearings reattach easily. That being said, I can imagine over time the ball bearings will wear down and it'll just be a piece of plastic junk.Have not tried the remote yet! That hasn't been a priority for me personally.

the actual tripod mechanism is very decent. the phone clip is average at best - but almost everything in this price range seems to be like that (i don't love the way the phone grip works. BUT - i am wrapping it around poles and using it to try to record live video from different angles. as a tabletop setup i think this would be a great value for the money, and even for the use i get out of it, it's still ok. if you are looking for an entry level "try it" tripod like this, this can work!

It's cheap. The head of the tripod where you attach your phone broke on after the 2nd use. Luckily I was able to pop it back on, but it'll still pop off from time to time. I have the iPhone 6s Plus that I attach this tripod to, maybe because it's a bigger phone, it's a bit harder to get in the tripod. I do like how the legs rotate in any which way you want though

Great little gizmo. The top pops off sort of easily, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Great price. Fine product. Easily conforms and bends to accomodate whatever position I need.

Comes in handy when I need it, everything works as described. Wouldn't really use it as a selfie stick unless your camera has a good wide angle view.
