The nuts were enjoyed buy the squirrels. It's difficult to find bulk, inshell, raw nuts at a reasonable price and these do the trick! Truly appreciated.

These still have a little bit of dirt on them (like they were from real trees & picked by real people!), which made me realize how unnaturally clean the ones were that I ate as a child at Christmas time.The only things "wrong" with them were what I think are natural amounts of variability: a few were cracked so their insides weren't as good; some of the shells are weaker or dirtier than others. Overall, though, the walnuts taste good (haven't had a bitter one yet, 1/3 of the way through the 5 lbs) and there are very few "bad ones." I am very happy! I love cracking them (also makes me eat fewer at a time, which is probably for the best). Sometimes I get so into cracking them, that I just keep on cracking and put the insides in a jar for later.If you like to feed outdoor animals, they say it's better for their teeth to have to chew through the shell. Plus they can bury these. I throw a couple of walnuts out for the squirrels every other day or so.

As a child in the 90s in Florida. It was common for me to eat walnuts from the shell. It wasn't uncommon to see people having them in a bowl for guests with a nut cracker near the bowl.Years went by I had almost forgotten about having them this way. Like a lot of people in recent times I just got the raw bagged shelled ones. As you may know walnuts are one of the most healthiest foods you can consume.It's a different texture and flavor experience eating unshelled vs shelled. Last week someone mentioned "who would eat a walnut from the shell it seems like so much work" it unlocked a memory. I replied "I use to eat them that way as a kid". I'm glad Amazon had these.The product has a great flavor, very fresh flavor and texture.I use to buy a 3lb bag of shelled walnuts on Amazon. I'm going to switch to these permanently.Unshelled walnuts are fresher, more nutrients and are cheaper.

Not a good and fresh quality product. Looks expired with bad taste. Outdoor not eat it. Bought two times but both times received same expired old walnuts but packed nicely. Have to throw away. Wasted my money. Would not buy again.Please sell fresh produce and not expired ones.

I liked the walnuts, the only thing is, were kind of dry inside. Probably not quite fresh. Maybe was just my batch, who knows? Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.

Squirrels love them. They are fresh and look good. Clean. Big nuts. Not broken or chipped. Good buy.
