Great value, great taste
This is a great quality soy sauce and you get a lot of it for a decent price. I always buy this now as opposed to the normal kikkoman stuff at the grocery store because this stuff tastes way better and i can get a lot of it at once. They also have a smoked version which is great too.

The King of Shoyu Soy Sauce
I really like soy sauce a lot. Some properly cooked jasmine rice sprinkled with just enough of this salty delight - I could be content just eating that from meal to meal daily. A friend pointed out to me years ago that all soy sauce is not created equal. You get what you pay for, and the cheap, everyday variety you can usually get at the regular grocery store or most Asian restaurants don't compare with the good stuff. Mitoku Yaemon Tamari, and Kishibori Shoyu and even non-fermented amino acids always have a spot in my refrigerator. I ran out of Kishibori Shoyu and saw this when I was ordering more through Amazon. I got a replacement bottle of Kishibori, and add this Mizunara Shoyu to my basked as well. Up until now Kishibori Shoyu was my favorite, followed closely by Tamari and the amino acids (Bragg) came in last. I refuse to eat any of the other cheaper brands, they don't have anywhere close the taste. Now this Mizunara Shoyu stands on top. I was pretty skeptical. I'm not a huge whiskey fan - and whiskey flavored soy sauce...at close to 50 bucks a bottle this could be an $expensive$ gamble if it tasted horrible. Glad I was wrong. First taste - there's a big punch of flavor right up front that lets a person know - this isn't your normal soy sauce here! But that WOW factor fades away into a delicious Shoyu flavor with even slight hints of almost a vanilla taste. This is the best thing I've invested in and tried for quite some time. I definitely recommend it. It's worth the $50, and you don't have to worry about your sauce tasting like your doing shots of Jack Daniels. This will be a staple in my house moving forward.

Wonderful! Worth every penny
Best soy you can purchase! Fast delivery, no breakage. Seems pricey however the taste is phenomenal and you don’t need a lot like cheaper soy sauces! Superb quality! Not overly salty with great umami.

Outstanding!
Quality is superior! Better than expected We bought one and immediately came back for a two more. This soy sauce is nothing like the typical OTA. It enhances meat, poultry, fish, rice, pasta, eggs and vegetables! Once you use this product you will be spoiled and never return to OTC! We heard about this product from a 5 start restaurant chef!!!! You won’t be disappointed and it’s so worth the price. The bottle seals the deal - love everything about it including label and lid- very upscale!!!

The best shoyu (soy sauce)!
Yes, it’s a little pricey. But it is by far the best I have tasted and will use this over the standard Kikkoman for almost all uses. It is full-bodied and very flavorful, greatly improves the taste of anything I use it for. No negatives other than the price, but I think it is well worth the price. Only time I would maybe resort to a lesser shoyu would be if I needed a very large volume and I wanted to keep my cost down. But even then, I’m not sure I would, as I used a 1/4 cup of this for a Philippino pork hock recipe and it vastly improved the dish.

amazing!
in my humble opinion, well worth the cost, amazing taste. However, was incredibly skeptical about the reviews I read, bottle arrived with a broken cap, very similar to other reviewers. Very disappointed in the packaging.

Game Changer for your food!
I’ve found a recipe from a very well-known chef. His wife actually wrote it. She shared that her husband known for his expertise and he is a soy sauce snob. After I enjoyed what was shared I looked into buying this fine barrel aged Shoyu and found it to my surprise on Amazon! This is not your standard soy sauce for sure. It adds a new dimension of flavor to your Asian cooking, sauces and marinates. Try it you’ll love it

Great taste
A world away from the shoyu (soy sauce) available in grocery stores. This shoyu makes a big difference when eating sushi. Costs more but well worth it to me.
