Bought a 4-pack from Zosi five years ago. They worked, but are no longer made. This unit is one step up in video resolution and clarity, a well as better night vision. The wireless range is better, too. It is easier to navigate the menus BUT they removed some of the settings. Motion sensing works well, but I'm sure it will pick up a few false alarms.

Great work!Update: Joseph has been exceptionally helpful!!What went very well:The camera system equipment out of the box worked very well.The picture clarity and responsiveness of the camera are excellent.The quality of the equipment built and packaged by the manufacturer is very high.Zosi technical support responds very fast to email questions.As a final assessment, technical support was terrific but the journey along the way was difficult.What I found difficult:The boxes containing the cameras for the system say that a user manual is enclosed. It was not. Requests for a physical manual to be sent to me were deferred to the documentation on-line. Printing out the documentation from the emailed link resulted in small sizing rather than 8x11 printout, so the printed documentation was also hard to read. I believe that the statement on the boxes are wrong, and the user manual is never included. In my opinion, for this product to warrant 5 stars the system box must contain a complete physical user manual, not just a quick start pamphlet.I tried to turn off the flashing LED warning lights on the cameras but had no documentation on how to do it. I emailed technical support and received a link on how to address the issue. The link showed screen layouts that did not match the screen displays on my system. After management got involved, I was given specific instructions and was able to turn off the lights, and based on our discussion, management updated the documentation in the link..Finally, the App (ZosiSmart) setup was frustrating. To use it, you have to set up an account. To set up an account, you must input a User ID and Password. The User ID input was no problem, but the app would not accept ANY combination of characters to enter the Password. The App always says that the Password entered does not meet the “rules”; and what is indicated is that a capital letter, a small letter, a number, and a special character are required. I tried everything imaginable and always got an error message. Finally, after management got involved and set up an account for me, I was able to access the ZosiSmart App with the User ID and Password they established for me. I have no idea how I could have overcome the Password issue without help from Echo and others from China. Once that was resolved, the user needs to scan the QR code on the DVR, then click on the “+” sign, then select device “DVR” (this is important – be sure to select the icon for a DVR not an icon for a camera), and then the App will add the system to your iPhone and push notifications can be monitored successfully.

Only through trial and error, have I determined the Zosi camera is ALMOST a direct replacement for the Harbor Freight Camera. The Zosi cameras come out of the box in CVBS mode which is the protocol for the tiny inside only Bunker Hill cameras (after many trials). The Zosi cameras come with a BNC female on the signal side. On the Bunker Hill provided cables, you will need a BNC»RCA Male to Female doggle, as shown in the photos. The 12 VDC connectors are a match. Once the doggle and power are connected, the video is instant. My Bunker Hill Cameras are outside and started to fail after several months. I prototyped, one of the monitors with the Zosi cameras and they worked perfectly for several weeks outside, which they are qualified for. The Zosi cameras are very good and superior to the Bunker Hill cameras in total darkness. The Bunker Hill cameras are actually quite good at twilight, better than the Zosi's. Both cameras work perfectly in daylight. The Bunker Hill monitors will easily work off of 12 VDC, so now you can have an inexpensive, battery operated, live, outdoor qualified security system. I use my Bunker Hill/Zosi combination with the internet/power goes down and takes down my WiFi cameras. I have eight cameras on four monitors which consume about 15 watts which runs for days on a marine deep cycle battery. Easy Stuff.

Dropped into an existing video system and worked great. Image quality as expected, previous unit was damaged. Swapped cameras and booted right up!
