Absolutely worth it! Not to mention, the great customer service! Love the design of the moon phases and the soft suede feel of this mat. It provides the perfect amount of cushion for my knees along with grip for my hands and comfort for my back. Though I have only had this mat for less than a week, the quality seems impeccably well made and durable. It's also not to heavy considering the thickness and materials used in the mat itself. I am not an experienced yogi, but I do my fair share of bikram, Yogalates, strength yoga, vinyasa a few times a week in conjunction with my Muay Thai training. All of which, my yoga mat has been there supporting me. ;) If I could take this mat everywhere, I would. Thanks Yoga Zeal!

I am in love w/this mat. Not only is the palm print super cute, but it truly is a non-slip mat. I've bought loads of mats before, and since I do lots of hot yoga, my palms are always very sweaty and its hard to find a mat that works. Well, this mat is awesome. I never slip. It's very soft and light to carry. Also, it's machine washable which is amazing since i do a ton of hot yoga and always want to have a clean mat. Super affordable, non slippy, machine washable and cute, affordable...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!! PS - i'm a picky virgo who is rarely 100% satisfied by products purchased online bc you never know, but this mat really is awesome!

Great mat! Super grippy and lightweight, yet just thick enough to be comfortable. However, I have only used it twice , so I have not put in the washing machine yet. That it is machine washable is a big part of why I bought it. If it washes up nicely and hold up, it will be the best mat ever. Time will only tell.

After researching several yoga brands and mats online, I ordered the Yoga Zeal Black Lunar Yoga Mat. This mat is gorgeous, it has a microfiber vegan suede top bonded to natural tree rubber. The construction and quality is very similar, if not identical to the Mika Yoga and Yoga Design Lab mats. I have a Jade Yoga mat also which is excellent but I really gravitate towards these comfortable microfiber suede top mats. They're recommended for hot yoga and grip better with sweat. However, I actually really enjoy using this mat for my nighttime restorative practice as well. Having a bit of slip is fantastic for a lot of the calming restorative flows. If I need more grip, I lightly mist the mat with an aromatherapy yoga mat spray and it works out brilliantly. I absolutely love the Lunar phases design! I hope Yoga Zeal will add more designs to their collection. I will definitely purchase from them again in the future.

I did give this Mat a good try… I appreciated how pretty it was and that it wasn’t slippery, but it picks up loose hair from pets at home or people on the yoga studio floor like nobody’s business. I had to use a lint roller every time I opened it and it was kind of embarrassing. Also not as thick as some of the reviews made it seem. I do like the idea of it being machine washable, though I didn’t get that far before returning it.

I just got my mat last night and used it for hot yoga this morning! It is true that the more you sweat the more you grip. I was worried about this mat since its like $80...but I actually love it. Also I'd recommend for hot yoga unless you sweat in normal yoga classes then it's perfect! (Also, some people are saying its slippery, it's slippery because your'e not sweating, if you don't, you can always mist the mat with some spray, I use an organic lavender mint cleaner!) The print is exactly like the images shown. I got the Black mat with the Moon phases. It is soft like suede which made me think it would never work, but class this morning proved it wrong. However, this mat is a little heavy but I can handle that... Also I was worried about a rubbery weird smell like a lot of others have and honestly I didn't smell anything, if so..MAYBE a little? anyway you can wipe it down when you get it. But all in all...it's a nice mat! P.S it does not come with a strap to carry...just putting that out there

Just received this mat and I LOVE IT!!! It's way more exciting and beautiful in person. I guess I didn't pay close attention and was not aware of the texture of the mat, but was very happy with it!!! Way better than what I thought I was getting. Cannot wait to use this everyday!!! So far it's excellent! The material makes it a bit slick, but I think that's more me and what I need to correct with my yoga. But this mat is AMAZING!!! It's beautiful and comfortable and just plain AMAZING! I cannot get over it. Will definitely be ordering from Yoga Zeal again! Update: (month+ later) OMG!!! I took this to hot yoga for 75minutes, vinyasa. it was the best thing ever! I didnt slid AT ALL!!! LOVE IT!

This yoga mat is not only absolutely beautiful in design, but also maintains a high functionality and quality! It did take me a while to get used to the suede top fabric, in comparison to most standard mats rubber feel, however, I much prefer this feel to any of my other mats now! As for slipping, I found that I have to "break the mat in" a bit and after I warmed up (and got a little sweaty) I never slipped, even in some more advanced poses such as crow, or pincha! The thickness of this mat is also perfect for my intermediate practice, supporting me in inversions and handstand play, but not too thick I feel as though it is actually taking away from my ability to balance. Overall, my absolute favorite at by far!

This Was amazing!! My wife loves it so much! The lunar pattern is great for her to centre herself !!!!
