Nice glasses make a huge difference for wine, and they make a big difference for beer too. (Stella has a really nice floral aroma which I can barely detect in a bottle or even a highball glass.) This 40 CL glass is ideal for bottled beer---it perfectly holds a full bottle of beer PLUS a moderate head---and the star stem is a little too much fun to hold. If you've gotten this in a bar before, you know. Wish I bought two more for when guests come over.

Perfect. Exactly as described. 40 cl capacity chosen because store bought Stella beer bottles (330 ml) are smaller than standard. 355 ml beer bottle contents (more standard) fit comfortably inside this glass so you can enjoy your own brand with no fill issues. Extremely well protected shipment and it arrived early.

Perfect for a 12 ounce bottle of Stella. The glasses are elegant in appearance and are the favorites of my wife and daughter-in-law. Note the 40 CL size is 13.3 ounces. There is a 30 CL version that will not hold a US 12 ounce bottle on first pour. The 50 CL version is what they are selling as a large in the local eateries (but less the 50 CL is 16.7oz and not the 22 oz one gets with a different brew.
