I need Frankincense for therapeutic purposes. So is it preferable to burn resins or buy oils and use a diffuser?

Do Both!  Internally; I watched a documentary where the woman got rid of her brain tumor by using a certain variety of Frankincense called "Boswellia Serrata." So i started looking around at different companies and reading reviews. I found an "organic" essential oil on Amazon from this company, "WellnesScent."  I've talked with the family run company.  Love their essential oils, they are of exceptional quality and the bottle is filled with 100% essential oil, no fillers or carrier oils. In just a short time, i have notice shrinkage, and my scars from surgery looking better, and dimpled skin becoming more normal. All in all, the outward appearance is much improved which by itself makes me happy but i know the inside is improving too. I am also doing other natural things but this is an addition that i have noticed additional improvement so wont be without. This EO does so many good things for your body/skin, sick or not. And i think it is a great protector even if you're healthy. The woman i saw in the documentary put one drop on her tongue and held to the roof of her mouth every two hours so it would go thru the blood-brain barrier. She had healed from a brain tumor.  I use this two ways; 1) I am using 30 drops of this essential oil in 1 1/2 ounce of carrier oil, organic sweet almond oil, and i rub it on the part of my body with cancer (breast cancer) and sometimes on my feet once or twice a day but i haven't been consistent with my feet. I read several people also rub it on their feet which probably makes sense since we have our Reflexology points there, but also the feet have the largest pores on the body. You will have to see how much your body can tolerate. Every body is different so experiment & research, goggling is very useful. I read if you do use it internally should be organic, and under the tongue gets it right in your blood stream & will pass the blood brain barrier, so since it is Organic,  2) most importantly, i also use "1 drop or so (straight from the bottle) holding under my tongue, holding for approx 1 min then swallow with some water, every 2 hours or so and am very consistent with it."   It made a big difference when i added this to what i was doing, where i had 3 spots of breast cancer & 2 1/2 of them went away within 3 months! One lady noticed a difference from her first bottle from this company with her son's tumor getting smaller and she is going back to order another bottle. They will also get you access to their free E-book on how to use the oils in so many different ways, and with other oils too which i want to explore, which was very useful. This company is family owned and operated and i have received "exceptional" customer service in answer to my questions, which is rare these days! Hope this helps some.   
And also add, get the green resin from Oman here on Amazon to "drink" too.  And also use the next grade down to "burn."   Be sure & read the product info since most resins are "only" to be used for burning as the quality must be the highest to take internally.  You will find info on how to drink it too. I bought my green Boswellia Sacra "from the Oman region" for about $15-16 dollars an ounce on Amazon to take internally.  It's Royal Green Hojari Frankinscense Boswellia Sacra imported from Oman from BCI/EarthWise Aromatics.  I am now researching to buy one to burn as well.   To your health
