Everything I expected
I’m pretty pleased with this planter. When I opened up the planter I saw a plastic packet of gravel at the bottom. I was a little confused at first, since the listing clearly states it does not come with gravel. And there are no further instructions after that point. I saw similar reviews facing the same dilemma so I figured maybe they’re going to start including gravel? It added a level of convenience... but the confusion continued. I was aware I would need to fill the bottom inch with gravel, but since mine came with some I wasn’t sure to leave in the plastic or not. I opted to dump it out (PICTURED).On another note, I’ve seen a lot of negative feedback regarding the self watering feature and I do not see what all the fuss is about so I wanted to add my input...The listing clearly states to water the plant and it will drain into the self watering reseviour.... or you could just lift the inner pot out and fill up the resevior with enough finger strength. It’s not super easy, but it’s definitly doable. The listing also clearly states wether or not your specific planner (size & color) comes with a clear, little window when selecting your planter. Mine did and the water level is easily visible (PICTURED). I would double check before ordering if this is a major concern for you.I purchased this planter because it was light-weight and self-watering. I have a Pathos plant up high and didn’t want to worry about the hassle of taking it down to water it. Looks great and definitely gets the job done.

My plant fell apart!
I'm sure this would work great if I knew how to tell how much water is in it. I followed the online directions when potting my kalanchoe. However, I don't know how to tell how much water is in it and when it needs water. I tried taking the inner pot out to see, but it's impossible. I tried using a knife to separate the two, but all I did was scratch the plastic. I gave up. This morning, my kalanchoe has literally fallen to pieces. I've had it for a year and it looked great. A week after putting it in this pot, all the stems fell off. The soil is moist so I guess it had too much water. I'm super disappointed. I wish I hadn't bought this thing.

So far the pots seem fine. They are the size I was hoping for and lightweight. I wanted plastic pots that didn’t look cheap. Since there a no studs where I wanted them hanging. Weird though, one pot came with gravel and the other did not. Both the same size. I read in the description that it did NOT come with it, so was surprised to find one did and the other didn’t. Overall, I got what I wanted

I took a chance and ordered 6 of these; not because of the self-watering but because they were the size and color I wanted and were reasonably priced. I just used them to re-pot a variety of different houseplants a few days ago and so far so good! Even one of the plants I've been struggling to improve seems to have perked up a bit. Pro Tip: to keep the soil from losing moisture too quickly I put small decorative pebbles on top of the soil to help keep the moisture in. Don't cover the soil completely but a scattering on the top is both functional and aesthetic. I do agree that at times it can be tricky to get the inside pot out to fill with water since there's no lip or grooves but my plans are small so it's not that bad. Overall I really like these and I would try others when I need them.

Planter looks nice, but amazon continuously ships them without the essential cartridge that goes in the bottom of the pot (the technology that differentiates Santino). I have two that work great but three straight shipments since have all been missing the cartridges. Unfortunately, I have had to choose another option for my self watering planters.

I love these planters
I love these planters. They look fantastic... love the cream color! I bought three for growing various herbs. Looking forward to not having to worry about over- or underwatering. They were sturdy, yet lightweight. Only suggestion (mentioned in previous comments) would be to incorporate some kind of visual water level indicator for the reservoir. I have no idea how full the reservoir is after I water the plants. I would recommend that you put water in the reservoir before filling the pot with the gravel, dirt and plants. Then add just enough water to moisten the soil. Also, I agree with the other comments that suggest including instructions with the pots.

Wrong product
I ordered 2 of these and was excited to receive them. But upon arrival, I immediately noticed something was wrong. These are listed as having the clear window to view water levels, but I only received 1 with the clear window. The products don't even have the same barcodes. A bit upset that I've waited for them only to be disappointed, but I'll be returning the incorrect one in Hope'of receiving the correct product this time.

But the pot itself looks nice and is a pretty colour
Slightly confusing instructions, had to go online to work out what I was meant to do. But the pot itself looks nice and is a pretty colour. My money tree on my desk is very happy with this!
