Sturdy & Compact Recumbent, Perfect for Small Home Cardio
The primary reason I purchased this model is because it fits into a small corner in my home and overall I'm very happy with my experience so far. This bike has one of the better flywheel weights (20lbs) in this price range and the bike feels sturdy during a workout.Assembly is absolutely something you should have two people for. But overall it was straightforward and I had no issues following the directions or assembling all of the parts included.I'm 6' 2" and 180lbs and I feel like the bike can be adjusted perfectly for my size. The comfort is completely adequate for the price, with enough padding on the seat and the open ventilation on the back of the seat. This was a big plus for me since I like to work up a sweat when doing cardio. The electronics are completely fine for my needs. The heart rate monitor is a little finicky at times depending on how I'm holding the contacts on the handle bars, but otherwise the screen is easy to read and shuts off automatically when done. I really didn't need a big video screen like some of the new machines, especially since its just as easy to place a tablet or phone in the holder below the screen. The operation of the machine is near silent, which is perfect since I live in a smaller home with roommates. So I can exercise at any time without creating any noise pollution. The one complaint I do have is the buit-in fans. They're actually quite loud for how little air they carry, so I never use them. I just use a room fan at my back since I prefer the airflow in that direction anyway.I'm curious to see how this thing holds up once I put a few years of use on it. But there's no indication that anything would break down or have issues in the months I've been putting it to the test. However, I did decide to grab an extended labor/maintenance warranty since this is my first NordicTrack brand purchase.

Nothing commercial about this, terrible customer experience
This bike definitely allows you to pedal to nowhere. If that's what you're looking for, this will do it.If you want a customer experience that won't have you screaming in frustration in the first 30 minutes of your interaction with the product, forget you ever heard the name NordicTrack. It is clearly Swedish for "make the customer so angry that they won't ever use the product because just looking at it after they unpackage and build it will make their heart rate climb to unhealthy levels".I wish I'd made the decision on the bike after I'd ordered and experienced the build on the NordicTrack treadmill I bought my wife instead of buying them at the same time. If I had, perhaps I'd not had this experience and would actually like the bike. The engineers and product managers responsible for this product have clearly never actually followed the instructions to examine the out of box experience. Either that or they just love to inflict pain on themselves and think their customers do, too.The packaging is an absolute nightmare of scotch tape and styrofoam that creates a massive mess since you can't remove the tape easily from the styrofoam without breaking and shredding it. There are no good places just to cut it that give you appropriate access to removing the components from the box. It's just a mess. The build is excruciating. There are a number of bolts and screws that are almost impossibly difficult to access with the way the frame and pieces come together. It's not impossible, but if you're not good at building things, you're going to end up with an improperly constructed bike, which is dangerous. For what this costs, the seat and vertical column are designed cheaply. One of the most important parts of a stationary bike is the seat, not unlike a road bike, as it dictates the comfort level you can achieve and length you can ride. This is just not acceptable in its adjustability or placement, and when building it out aligning it is not simple. This is not a fit and finish issue but one of design. It is designed for COGS and expediency, not positive customer experience.I could write many pages about the little details where things get in the way of screw heads, thread alignments and the proper installation of the several plastic covers, but the bottom line is you expect when you buy the NordicTrack brand to be getting a high-end product. That is simply not the case. Years ago, that was my experience, but they have lost their way. They have forgotten about the 5 minute rule for any manufactured, packaged and assembly required good and how utterly critical it is to make a lasting and positive impression in those five minutes. No amount of subscriptions will overcome the lost customers from those bad experiences. I won't be buying a subscription and when this fails I will not pay to have it repaired, I will replace it.With another brand. I recommend you START what it took me hundreds of dollars and many hours of pain to understand -- don't buy into the false mystique of this brand name. Buy something local that is less expensive and does more for less stress.

Great bike for the price.
We've had this for some weeks now and it's a great machine. Sturdy construction and the touch screen is bright and responsive. Some have noted that the assembly took hours, but it assembled quickly with clear and concise instructions. Excellent buy!Added an iFit account to get the full experience and it helps you focus on something other than your burning legs.

Works great for me 6'5" and my wife 5'6" with adjustment ...
Works great for me 6'5" and my wife 5'6" with adjustment for 6" shorter legs. No need for earbuds it is easy to hear radio or TV over it. The resistance light to extra heavy. At 16 of 25 it is heaver than the machine at my PT on its highest setting. It is heavy so one may need help moving it. The assembly directions are good but the reason I can't give it 5 stars is there are no directions in the box or online, on what its built in programs contain or much on how to use them. By trial and error I have found them to all be for serious young athletes. It is easy to make and change your own workout as you go. The knob under the screen tilts the screen and hand grips for a better fit a nice feature they don't talk about.
