Chicago P.D.: Season Eight [DVD]

PD did not disappoint in quality of content. I want to know though, why I'm paying even more than before for 4+ less episodes to the season. Are we going to use Covid as the excuse for this too??

Yes I understand the epidemic or pandemic shortened numerous tv shows. The season 8 dvd I received of Chicago pd had one disc of 4 shows from the last season. I was so confused, but all other shows were new. I read the reviews to see if anyone mentioned they noticed it also and no one did. Am I the only one? I also realized the racial bias portrayed and heavily so, that received negative reviews. In my opinion it was probably truthfully shown how it really is out there in more cities then we realize. Its a problem no other shows have shown to its fullest reality. Afraid?? possibly - Kudos Chicago for telling it like it is....!

Description was for the US DVD - received the foreign set instead. No markings on the outside of the case. Markings were on the discs themselves. Would not play in my Sony player at all.

One of the seasons was damaged (season seven) and had decent packaging, so it was sent damaged. There needs to be better quality control than this.....

A bit more Woke stuff but not bad. Writing is good. Acting is solid. We burned through this shorter season in three days. Couldn't stop watching.

Chicago PD is one of my favorite shows. I really enjoyed the season and watching the characters grow. I enjoy the timeliness of the episodes.

The show has always been ok with a typical leftist Hollywood slant however season 8 is the most blatant anti white racist propaganda I've ever seen. We broke all the DVDs and trashed this racist bile.
