Great kit, but remember slotted/drilled rotors are hard to get resurfaced
This is a great kit and was easy to install after doing a simple YouTube search. They lasted 5 years with no problems and I would buy them in a heartbeat. They brake very well, smooth, and there was no rust. Break-in was easy, and they were quiet until the day I needed to replace them. Just a great, relatively inexpensive upgrade for a daily driver.One word of warning on a fundamental issue: If you ever need to resurface these rotors in the future, most local shops won't do it. In my case, the gouges in the rotors (not too bad, but required resurfacing) were due exclusively to the off road conditions of where I live - but I wasn't expecting to be turned away from every machine shop I called (they hadn't even seen them - this is standard practice that shops won't resurface slotted and drilled rotors for liability and safety issues removing material in an already lightened assembly). As a result, if you ever have any scratches on your rotors when it comes time to put new pads on, you are absolutely 100% locked into buying new rotors. But this isn't the product's fault (hence the 5 stars).That said, if you drive primarily on paved roads, I still say get them. If my local shop carried them, I would have bought them again when I was pressed to do my weekend brake job before a long trip.

Best brakes ever. Got to get these. Trust me!!!
Update 05/10/2021so.. 61500 ish on the truck, i put these on around 30000 ish. so they did what the original brakes did so far. my first 4runner (a 2004) needed brakes and calipers every 15000. at 30000 this truck needed rotors and pads, at 60000 it needs just pads (or so i am told, going in 05/12/2021). i got the powerstop pads this time since they did what the oem did. i dont know about you but every time i replaced the first set of brakes i used to get about 1/2 of what i got on the first set. heck i even got 85000 on one set but this is heavier truck so 30000 on a second set is greati highly recommend... heck powerstop if you want to send some decals i will proudly display them on my rear windowUpdate 09/27/202050000 oil change. Still at 7mm which is still considered green by Toyota. Guessing last guy got it wrong. Still pleased. No warp. Great ride. Looks like I can just replace pads. I have about 20000 on them. And they are at or just over half life. They stop incredible. Absolutely love these.Update 07/06/2020just got the 45000 oil change and the brakes are at 10 mm front and 8 mm rear. guessing the guy last time lied, this guy spent more time and i watched him measure. i have about 15000 on them now (give or take, i have the mileage written down somewhere), but they should exceed the original brakes and it looks like i can reuse the rotors next time too, so overall, they will of saved me 1000 for 2 brake jobsupdate 03/12/2020just got an oil change and they measured the brakes, i have about 7000 miles on the brakes and they measured in at 9mm. new they are about 11.5, so 2mm for 7,000. i should get about what i got on the oem originals. maybe slightly less. and again i did up the tire size and went with lt's. i should be able to just replace the pads next time too, so overall, they saved me a lot of $$$$update 01/13/2020ok, I gotta admit, the stopping power is a lot better. they grab easily and sooner than the older brakes. if you ever drove a Toyota you know how well the brakes grab, and these are that much better. higher pedal height, overall very happy so far. they appear to be wearing well. I will have an update in about 4000 miles at next service, I did however go with an LT tire, and up one sizedon't know about longevity yet, but I will update that over time. just got them installed, yes the pins are the wrong size, so I also ordered them. the mechanic said these are the best possible brakes I could get (and he is a Toyota guy). I did the break in as described and they seem to be grabbing quite well. they did smoke during the break in process.the truck rides much nicer, no more little shake. if I get 20k out of these its worth it, with installation its still 40% less than the dealer.

Just What We Needed
Our 4Runner is close to 100k miles and the OEM rotors are warped. Figured it was time to replace them, so went ahead and ordered this kit after watching some videos. Made in China (no surprise) but the parts looked good & fitment is perfect. Went about the install slowly, taking my time & double checking things, and cleaning things up along the way. Took the truck out and did the break in procedure per the instructions - all good. Wife took the truck out today to run errands and said everything is great ... no more vibrations when braking. 5 stars for now. Hoping that these provide trouble-free performance for the next 50K miles or more.

Rotors and the extreme bakes are great
These brakes and rotors are great fit my 2021 4Runner perfectly. Increased my braking power considerably. Have had them for 2 weeks and very happy. Will see how long they last

Excellent brakes!
This is the third vehicle I’ve installed a set of replacement brakes on. The only reason I didn’t rate this 5 stars is the hole drilled into the rear rotors for adjustment of the parking brake does not exactly match the hole in the wheel hub. The pads, hardware, and rotors fit perfectly. Installation was not difficult, but if you have never done a brake job before, watch instructional video beforehand.

2011 4Runner, includes everything you need
2011 4Runner. This set included everything needed except anti-seize for the rotors, which I already had. Everything fit perfectly. Follow the break-in procedure.
