This is my first electric toothbrush. And I guess, I started with the Cadillac of electric toothbrushes, the Oral-B iO Series 8. I cannot compare this to any other electric toothbrush because I’ve never used them. But after positive reviews from friends and reading some things online, I was finally sold on the idea of switching to electric toothbrushes. I have to admit, I’m rather pleased with the Oral-B iO Series 8 electric toothbrush. It’s amazing how my mouth actually feels cleaner after I’m done brushing. What I like the most about this is the pressure sensor. If it wasn’t for that, I could guarantee you I would be brushing too hard, like with a traditional manual toothbrush. The Oral-B iO Series 8 also has an LED ring that changes colour when you’re brushing too hard. The Smart Pressure Sensor signals red if you're brushing too hard, white for brushing too soft, and green if you're brushing with the right amount of pressure. It’s amazing how even the lightest touch with this electric tooth can result in your teeth getting a superb clean. It has 6 different brushing modes to choose from such as Daily Clean, Whitening, Gum Care, Super-Sensitive, and Intense. I always end up using Gum Care as it keeps my gums from damage without any irritation while brushing. The LED display on the front is pretty nifty too. It has a 2-minute timer that lets you brush for a dentist-recommended time of 2-minutes. With my traditional toothbrush, I honestly have no idea for how long I brushed. It’s nice to know that I’m brushing for two whole minutes. One thing that was a little strange and took some getting used to was the fact that the toothpaste doesn’t foam much with this toothbrush. The magnetic charging stand is really neat. It uses inductive charging like a modern cell phone. And it comes with lock-in-place stability to hold the toothbrush in place. But be careful when you place it because it’s easy to knock it over and you don’t want that to happen. And by the way, the Oral-B iO Series 8 electric toothbrush is a sleek and modern toothbrush that just seems great! Honestly, I couldn’t have been happier, I wish I started using electric toothbrushes sooner. For all I know, none of the cheaper toothbrushes would be as good as this. I’m not disappointed at all. I highly recommend the Oral-B iO Series 8 electric toothbrush!

I was surprised that Oral B offered such a product that has advanced tracking from the phone to the toothbrush giving real time updates on how I am brushing my teeth. Easy to clean and does a good job for dental hygiene ..makes teeth feel like you just got them cleaned at the dentist, the round head makes it easier to clean around the teeth compare to the manual toothbrush..this electric toothbrush cleans extremely well.. I am very pleased with how well it removes plaque and brightens my teeth. Moreover it notifies me if I have brushed too light or too hard on teeth and detects what teeth I am cleaning and for how. Further there are several modes for cleaning teeth sensitive, super sensitive, daily clean, whiten, gum care and intense. It's easy to charge and easy to clean. Battery is long lasting. Works great, fast and efficient, easy to clean and does a good job. Overall I am highly impressed with the product and the app functionality on the phone. Good quality product. Value for money..highly recommend.

Such a great toothbrush! I’ve only had 2 electric toothbrushes before, a very basic Oral-B electric toothbrush and a Philips Sonicare DiamondClean, and of course, countless regular manual toothbrushes. The quality of the Oral-B iO Series 8 electric toothbrush is just awesome. It’s heavy-duty, yet pretty easy to maneuver and looks so sleek! Using the iO is close to child's play. You can use the buttons to set up and toggle between different brushing modes, and if you keep pressing the button you will reach the settings menu. Like me, if you accidentally set the wrong language when first starting it up, you can toggle to the settings menu and change the language (or even do so on the Oral B app by clearing toothbrush settings and then pick up the brush, power on and select the language you want). The brush heads are great, the type included is the ultimate clean brush head. I really like that it is a larger circular brush head as opposed to the more slim, rectangular shape of my previous electric toothbrush heads. It does leave you with an extremely clean feeling afterward! The Smart Pressure Sensor and the 2-Minute Brushing Timer, both are significantly helpful. If you’re new to using an electric toothbrush, it might take a little time getting used to but you’ll end up loving it. The app is neat (connects to the iO toothbrush by Bluetooth) and allows you to track your brushing habits like brushing time and applied brushing pressure history every day. You can also adjust the brushing time on the app and change the colour of the light on the brush. You can also set up reminder notifications for when it’s time to replace the brush head. The magnetic charger is good, compact, and charges fairly quickly with lock-in-place stability to hold the toothbrush in place. I like the Oral-B iO Series 8 electric toothbrush a lot and had I purchased it outside the Vine program, I’d feel the same about its performance and quality!

Lang georiënteerd welk model. Investeer niet te veel in de diverse programmas, die gebruik je uiteindelijk niet. Maar de tril frequentie en de kwaliteit de doorslag. Ik gebruik deze borstel nu al maanden lang en vindt het de beste electrische borstel tot nu toe. Ik raad 'm echt aan. En zeker als je zuinig bent op je tanden. Poets gemak, schoon en wellicht iets te veel mogelijkheden.

Bon, j'ai attendu 3 semaines avant d'écrire ce commentaire, voulant m'assurer des effets durables du produit... Que dire... Cette brosse à dent m'a changé la vie !!! Ca semble un peu excessif certainement, et pourtant... Plusieurs années que je saigne énormément des gencives... j'ai tout essayé : des détartrages profonds chez le dentiste, changer de dentiste (!), des traitements médicaux (non remboursé et très cher), j'ai du tester toutes les brosses à dent existantes en grande surface et pharmacie, idem pour les dentifrices, les bains de bouche... Bref, à chaque brossage, je ressemblais à Dracula après un festin... A cracher du sang encore et encore... Ce qui fait que je me brossais mal les dents (en gros 30 sec au lieu de 3 min) de peur de saigner très fort... Ma dernière brosse à dent était une électrique oral b pro... Et j'ai décidé de laisser une chance à la io 8 histoire de tester une nouvelle fois quelque chose pour mes dents... Et là... Le miracle ! Pourtant la brossette n'est même la spéciale "gencives délicates" ! Aucun saignement... rien de rien... Quel que soit le mode utilisé : pas une goutte !!!! Je peux à nouveau me brosser les dents longuement, 3x par jour, sans redouter ce moment !!! Un miracle je vous dis !!! Par ailleurs, voici ce que je peux dire sur le produit : - Terminé le manche caoutchouc, du coup, la brosse à dent se nettoie très simplement et est toujours bien clean (chose impossible avec le caoutchouc de l'ancien modèle) - La base étant arrondi et plane : terminé les dépots crades dessus... Un petit coup d'éponge et hop : tout clean !! - Le brossage est bien plus doux en bouche que les anciens modèles... ça vibre, c'est efficace, mais c'est doux ! - Le timer est pratique, le "bonjour" est sympa, quand à l'application, je n'en sais rien... Je ne l'ai même pas installé, ayant passé l'age d'apprendre à me laver les dents !!! Mais je pense l'idée pas mauvaise pour les enfants : ça rend le brossage des dents ludiques dans notre mode "ultra connecté" ! - La batterie dure longtemps hors charge ! Ce n'est pas négligeable comme détail ! - Elle est bien plus légère et silencieuse que les modèles précédents... Ca n'a rien à voir ! - Dernier point et pas des moindres : j'ai gagné facilement 1 teinte et demi en terme de blancheur... Mes dents sont toutes lisses, et mon sourire est "éclatant" (bon pas comme dans les pubs hein ?) Voilou... J'avais beaucoup hésité avant d'acheter parce que ce n'est pas donné... Mais je ne regrette absolument pas mon investissement... C'est un vrai bon moment que de se brosser les dents avec cette machine ! Si vous hésitez encore : j'espère que mon commentaire vous aidera à sauter le pas... Parce que franchement, cette brosse à dent en vaut la peine !

Die Zahnbürste ist top. Ich putze jetzt seit drei Tagen mit der neuen Bürste und habe das Gefühl, dass ich bei einer professionellen Zahnreinigung war. Die Zähne sind glatter und fühlen sich viel sauberer an. Für eine Zahnbürste ein stolzer Preis...wenn man aber ständig Zahnreinigungen beim Zahnarzt machen muss, zahlt man mehr. Die App ist eine Spielerei, die ich nicht unbedingt brauche. Schön ist auch, dass die Zahnbürste genau zeigt, wie fest man putzen muss..dann leuchtet sie grün. Die Aufsteckbürsten sind zwar teuer.. aber man benötigt jeder 3 Monate eine neue Bürste..an den Wechsel erinnert die App..somit zahlt man alle 3 Monate ca. 10 Euro für eine neue Bürste. Völlig ok. Ich würde die Zahnbürste wieder kaufen

Ridiculously good brush. Everytime it feels like I’ve actually done something productive for my teeth. Great brush, great feeling and clean teeth. Two downsides: in the app sometimes it fails to pickup when I brush and therefor doesn’t reflect it on the teeth visuals and results in an Inaccurate brush period. In some angles the brush doesn’t quite catch accurately where you brush. Kind of annoying. Fix those downsides and it’s a 5/5 rating, for now it’s a 4/5.
