Are wires and power cords are waterproof?

Weather-Resistant, not waterproof. All of the plugs (HDMI, power, optical audio, etc) are protected with a cover on the back of the television that is screwed in place.

Can you leave this outside all year? I live in Minnesota it gets to -50 sometimes

I live in Minnesota and used it year round outside when using our hot tub. We had no issues with the TV

How would direct sun actually damage the tv? The full sun tv is far too expensive so trying to find something that will still look good.
