Used in a street restoration on a 69 ranchero, Great compliment to the chrome steering column.

Looks great and very comfortable to drive with for a long time.
****Update below****I love my new wheel. It replaced the old plastic/rubber 1985 GMC steering wheel in my van. I did use theGrant 3196 Horn Kit Gm Amer 69-94 but was very sad to find that the horn did not work and I lost turn signal auto turn off. Its ok I rigged a new horn button and I can turn off the turn signal myself. Other than that I highly recommend the horn kit as a way to finish this wheel off. It comes with all of the attaching hardware. The wheel itself looks fantastic. I would have liked to have the wood more polished but as it is (slightly rough), it offers nice grip. I am debating adding varnish myself after some light sanding.Pros:+ Looks like a much more expensive wheel at a very good price.+ grip indentions are deep and comfortable+ Mounts easilyCons:- Appears unfinished (could use a nice polish)- recommended horn kit did not work on a 1985 GMCOverall I really love this wheel and would recommend it to anyone looking to spiff up the cab of your car/truck.Thank you for reading my review.**** Update 9/24/2011 ****The oils from my hands have soaked into the wheel. It is very smooth now. I did not add anything to it nor did I sand it like I thought I would. Not sure if that was expected but it has a nice finish now on its own.

Nice for the price
Used hardwood stain and polyurethane to make it pretty for my 72 Ford f250 4x4.

looks good from a distance
These look great... from a distance. The fit and finish leaves quite a bit to be desired. Gaps in the wood and a ding in the chrome makes me want to take it apart and make it sand on it to make it truly nice. The cost and brand name makes you think you are getting a show piece, it's not. it's probably worth about 25% less.

Good deal.
Purchased this for my 1983 gmc project truck.Ia very happy with the look and feel of the genuine walnut. Have recieved compliments on it 2. Grant has been around for a long time and they make good stuff. Old school look, perfect fore and my truck!! Better price than 2 of the major catalogue suppliers.

Still great value for money, stylish to with chrome spokes on this model.
I've bought several Grant wheels over the years. They are still great value for money. The first time with chrome spokes...really suits my 1969 Ford Fairlane 500 Fastback. Easy purchase on Amazon .com from here in the UK. Great savings apposed to here in England.
