Not easy for begginers.
This is a good HMI device. The people who run the forum can be a little harsh so do lots of research. When using this device with Arduino Itead's library is very confusing for rookies. The use of pointers is prolific. After about a month of learning though have been able to successfully implement this device in my project.

will need software and sd drive
Works great on mu uBitx ham rig. Be sure to have the needed microSD drive to transfer the configuration. If you are building your own display, you will need to download the software to a development PC.

Cant tell if the screen is broke or the compiler software is borked. Nobody really answers any questions, and it's not behaving as it shoukd.
