Indigo powder have to be mixed with henna and left in hair for at least 2-3 hours for it to turn hair black. Cover plastic wrap once applied. There are videos online on how to use and it does work. It lasts about 3 weeks and have to be re-wpplied again. Good alternative to the commercial hair dye with chemicals.

This along with their indigo (when applied correctly) made my hair look & feel amazing! I used 100g mixed with filtered water (yogurt consistency) after 6hr, indigo 100g (same as above) then as soon as it was smooth & like yogurt. I mixed it with the Hanna and applied it on all my long hair, wrapped hair in Saran Wrap for 2hrs. Stuck my hair in a tub of cold water to get most off then rinsed the rest off with cold water (in the shower). Waited 3days to wash & another day more to put coconut oil onto my hair/scalp. My hair was beautiful for over 4wks(doing nothing else but combing). Now I’m planning on doing this again, my hair looks fine but my scalp is starting to itch (my scalp was itch free for over 4wks). 7/14/23 11hrs henna sat (mixed with Luke warm water) then made indigo (mixed w/hot water) then combined them both, placed plastic around hair/head & placed a knit cap. 2hrs & rinsed w/cold water and will wait 72h to wash/condition & another (96hs) to use styling stuff (coconut oil). Very pleased (hair looks shiny & beautiful w/no shampoo or styling stuff)

Purchased indigo powder, does not do its job. Seems like either the powder delivered might be old or expired because it should color your hair black but after doing two step process but it just doesn't not color your hair at all. I have purchased other brand products before but never had such experience. Please don't buy it.

I’ve been using henna powder to dye my hair for 20 years. I like this brand. Comes together nice, dies my grey hair with beautiful earthy red tones. Lasts a long time and makes my hair feel healthy and shiny.

I really enjoyed this Hanna. It gives a deep red color pay off for people with medium brown to black hair.

I bought my henna powder along with a bag of indigo powder back in 2023. This month I have been making my own henna paste and it gives a beautiful reddish brown color when I mix 50/50 henna to indigo along with black tea, lemon juice and eucalyptus oil. The henna tattoos are lasting 1-2+ weeks. Very happy to have found this. Note: I do sift before adding liquids and them strain through a pair of nylons to ensure no lumps are in my cones.

i read that adding indigo makes the regual henna closer to brown, this product works well to darken the henna. I have been dying with henna for years and will never go back to chemical colorants.
