I bought this for my son’s bedroom we are renovating for him. He is obsessed with basketball so I needed a backboard for his room. This one is PERFECT! So many are huge for outdoor use but I needed one for indoor. This was is a little less than 2 feet wide and about 16 in tall. It is perfect for his bedroom! It is also sturdy, well made, and resilient. Hanging it on the wall will give him the look he wants with “decor” that is interactive! Fully recommend this one for anyone looking for a little smaller board for indoor!

Easy to install and our son loves it! Seems to be holding up well. Nice and sturdy and looks great!

Great hoop for a smaller indoor space. Rim was a little smaller than I expected, but the breakaway option is a nice feature as I’m sure my son would have torn it out of the wall by now without it.If mounting the hoop to studs (as opposed to drywall) use a drill to get the bolts in as far as you can and then use a ratchet wrench to tighten them down. I initially used just a ratchet wrench to tighten the first 2 bolts and both broke as I was halfway through tightening them down (luckily I had similar bolts in my toolbox). For the next 2 bolts, I used a drill with a Phillips head bit, tightening them down about 3/4 of the way before then using a ratchet wrench for the last 1/4. Worked like a charm.

This has been so fun in my son’s room! Easy to install and vey sturdy.

This was a christmas gift for my 11 year old and was his favorite gift. I was nervous about drilling holes into the walls but we had an over the door one before and it broke 2 months in so I was looking for something more durable. This is so secure to the wall, my son even dunks the ball and it doesnt budge. It also has springs so if they do dunk, it isnt putting pressure on the wall but just springs back up. The adjustable arms for height is also a plus. My husband put this together in about an hour and didn't need any assistance either.

The media could not be loaded. We wanted something the garage so our teenage boys could play more aggressively. We have a mini door hoop inside and it’s getting crazy. It was a bit of work for my husband to put up but the directions were right on and all of the components were there. The quality seems good, the height adjustment is awesome and price was good as well.Our kids are having a blast with it!!!

I'll start with the likes-I have three boys and they have been loving the hoop. Lots of dunks and it's still hanging sturdy on the wall. We went through a lot of over-the-door hoops, and they only last a few weeks. This definitely seems a lot more solid.Dislikes-The directions are bad. I wish they gave recommendation on installation height; (i.e. if bracket is 7' off the ground, hoop can be adjusted to 6-8' ht.). I wish I would have installed it higher, but once it's up, you're not going to want to move it again.The included hardware and "tools" are TERRIBLE. The screws immediately stripped when installing into studs. I would plan on using your own hardware and tools.The rim is bent upwards, see picture. Doesn't seem to affect the fun my kids are having, but it's a bit annoying that we can't flatten it.Finally, the mini basketball has a slow leak. Its a great ball other than having to fill it every day. I emailed Franklin customer support asking for a replacement ball. I'll update review if/when they respond.
