ONine Leather Repair Tape, Leather Repair Patch, 16 x 60 Inch Self-Adhesive Couch Patch, Waterproof, Wear-Resisting, for Furniture, Drivers Seat, Sofas, Car Seats (Dark Brown No.5)

This patch was used in two cars on the drivers seat about a month or two ago. So far I'd give 5 stars but hesitate because it's a short period of time and a high stress area. A few tips that might help since my son is quite knowledgeable about cars. Clean the area your going to cover with the patch with alchohol and let dry. Make sure you cover not only the tear/rip but also the area around it. Round the corners. This patch is NOT forgiving or repositional so be careful to place it smoothly exactly where you want it to go. After placement and pressing down to make sure it's secure, use a hair dryer and heat up the area, especially the edges, a little to make the adhesion stronger. Allow to cool and settle before sitting or rubbing against the repaired area. For many, those are basic ideas they already know. But for those like me who know little about cars it may help. Personally I don't know if I'd attempted the repair on the drivers seat without my son to do it. 🦋

Definitely an improvement over the white fabric that had been showing under tears and missing pieces. Easy to cut. Perfect match for our older sectional and (so far) has not started to peel off. Do make sure to round off the corners you cut so it is less likely to peel!

I totally lucked out as the color was a match on the first order. I liked the larger size. It does NOT look like tape like some others on the market. I unzipped the cover and added additional stuffing to the arm prior to adding the patch. I also pulled the area that was peeling so they would not be any long loose pieces underneath the patch once it was attached. I colored the edge of the patch (before I remove the backing) with a dark marker to cover the white cut edging. I think that helps make it look less obvious once applied. My only complaint is that it isn’t the same texture as my sofa, but then I knew it wouldn’t be. Overall I love the product. I will order again because we have 2 identical brown “leather” Ashley sofas and both have this issue. If there was a longer size available, I would buy enough to cover the remaining arms on my sofas and apply before they start peeling.

I’m so impressed with this! My couch had a two tears in it that kept getting bigger and bigger. I tried black duct tape and that was a huge mistake since it was in such a high-traffic, heavily-used area.Some tips for applying:1) Clean area well to remove any residue, dust, or debris. Use a paper towel (not cloth because it’s too linty) and isopropyl2) Without removing the back adhesive film yet, place the patch in the desired area. Once you like the location, use a pen to verrrrrry lightly mark the four corners so that you have guides to follow.3) Once you’re ready, only remove half of the adhesive backing and fold the film over so only half of the sticky side is exposed. Then slowly adhere one side and smooth it out. After do the second part. It’s a huge piece so it’s easy to accidentally touch or stick on an area by mistake.4) For a better bond, use a hairdryer to heat up the patch and press down/smooth out.I’ve had this for a week now and it’s such a great solution! Now I don’t need a new couch!

The patch is great however the dark brown option is not dark enough for my leather couch. Please make a darker option for like espresso dark brown couches.

Easy to apply, and looks pretty good. Still looks repaired, but not shabby. Close color match- I used Dark Brown No. 5 on an espresso ottoman. The patch has a slightly redder tone. It’s been there for a few weeks, with people resting feet on it, and it’s holding up just fine.

I had a large hole in my leather couch from overly excited puppies... The color doesn't match perfectly but it sticks just fine and there's no stuffing coming out! Just make sure to get the placement right the first time. If pulled off it leaves some discoloration... But all in all it works great and has definitely served it's purpose!
