TCP Global Gravity Feed Paint Gun Holder - Wall or Bench Mount, HVLP Spray Gun Holder

This is one of those things that you have to ask yourself "How did I live without this thing?" I bought a HVLP spray gun a while back but didn't know this kind of holder existed. A few months back, I was helping a friend spray a canoe and he pulled this out of his kit and I realized what I'd been missing. I came straight to Amazon to pick up this stand.It's a fairly straightforward product; it holds your paint sprayer straight up and down, making it easy to strain and fill your sprayer with paint. When you're done, the strainer loop can be spun out of the way or removed completely. Then when you need to put your sprayer down, you can just pop it on the holder without much fuss.By itself, it's not incredibly sturdy as it's made to be mounted to a flat surface, so I mounted it to an old piece of 2x6" lumber and it's been really sturdy for me. I might put it on a 2x8" so there's a bit more stable side-to-side, but I haven't had it fall over yet.This is the perfect item for anyone with a paint sprayer.

Since this paint gun stand is a universal design that will allow it to be used with most gravity feed paint guns , it can't be expected to be a good fit right out of the box. It can be tweaked so that you can get a very good fit. While tweaking mine I found that it is well constructed and the metal used to make it has good strength and is not easy to bend. That means that once adjusted to be a good fit , the stand will retain it's shape . As it comes you could get away with using several guns with it and doing nothing to it but I always like things to fit well so if I had more than one paint gun, I would buy a stand for each and tweak the stand for the best fit I could get. It's a little bit of trouble up front but a lot less aggravation later .

The welds were really rough with lots of sharp edges and I will be undertaking a lot of bending etc. to get it to eaven come close to holding my hvlp!I think it is doable, but will take a lot of effort by buyer!!

Works gust great, I sur don't know how you can paint without it.

Note the base is way too small, you have to secure it to the surface to prevent it from tipping over.

Llegó en tiempo y forma, buen accesorio para colocar la pistola, el porta filtro está alto para el baso de mi pistola y hace que salpique mucho material al estar llenando el baso, pero éste porta filtro no está fijo y eso ayuda a que si se sujeta a una distancia más corta al inicio de que estoy llenando el baso de la pistola no salpicas. En general es buen accesorio.
