The media could not be loaded. I’m a size 8-8.5 and my feet are chunkier & tend to be on the wide side. These size 8 shoes fit perfectly right out of the box. They are snug but not tight.My feet slid right in smoothly & they did seem to have some slight stretchy give to them so will fit a variety of widths. They are soft and smooth on the top of my feet and although the outside is smooth & shiny, the inside is like a Matt texture so they don’t stick to your skin so much. The inside of the sole is soft with a thin layer of padding & the arch lined up perfectly where my arch is. the length is perfect for my foot & very comfortable . It’s a heavier shoe so if that bothers you these are not for you. I think the neutral color is unique in this tone & is really soft & beautiful. If you are over 30 years old & remember the jelly sandals we had as kids., the scent of these will remind you. It’s not fruity, it’s not cherry or pachouli (no one knows what it is,lols) But it’s a very light scent that will fade when you leave them out or wear them a few times.They are a great spring summer fall shoe that can be worn casually with jeans or with a cute dress for an event. I was pleasantly surprised with these shoes & may get another pair in another color.

I ordered these shoes (size 10/black) to wear to a wedding. I am 5'4" and was concerned about the length of the jumpsuit I ordered, as well as my inability to make timely alterations. The shoes provided height, allowed me to wear the jumpsuit "as is" when it arrived, and they were the most comfortable heels I've ever worn. I highly recommend these shoes. My feet weren't sore at all! I believe the angle of the shoe, the lightness, and the comfort of the wide band across the instep provided great structure for my foot.

Totally want to get another color now. I got so many compliments wearing this sandal. To have my daughter & daughter in law want to steal them and say they were 'obsessed' with them made me smile. Wore them to a formal wedding in a form fitting gold dress. Would also work just as well with jeans or another type of dress. They were comfortable and 'made' my outfit for this wedding. In fact, they arrived at our door 20min before heading to the wedding. Saved by these shoes arriving right on time! To wear them instantly w/no breaking in for the next 5hours was quite the test and they passed! At the end of the night a few of my toes were sore & I did get some blistering but to have made it for that long right out of the box including dance in them, I deem a success. Got the beige/love the color! Also went down in size. I'm a 6.5 and bought a '6'. I will buy more of this brand including this same 'mule'.

Very comfortable and sturdy, however watch your feet get damp and dry skin clump up in the shoe. It's gross but easy to clean. These do have that new plastic/rubber smell but it's sort of sweet. I wear these often. Prepare to get lots of compliments, and asks where to get them. I do keep these by the door and throw them on really quick to go to the mailbox, clean something quickly outside, wear all day on my feet at work on different surfaces-grass, concrete, hardwood, carpet, etc. Very comfortable! Just make you sweaty...

I like the Melissa brand. They are easy to clean. Usually they are good quality, but that was not the case with this pair. I do not know if it was the shipper or this style is just not as well made. The shoes were re-boxed in a cardboard box that read the original box was damaged so, we sent it in this to protect the shoes. However, they were just thrown in the box with no tissue paper or any method to prevent damage. There were smudges all over them. There was a visible line on the top of both shoes in different locations as if they did not use a single piece/ mold, but two. Picture buying a pair of pants, only to receive capris with extra material sewn on to make them longer. When paying over $100+ for a pair of shoes, especially “jellies,” I expect more. They are more expensive than many alternatives, but this time the quality and craftsmanship did not come close to the brand expectations. They cost the same from well known stores and even the company’s website. Overall a cute style and great color, but poor execution. I plan to buy another pair of Melissa’s in-store before deciding if the brand has just decided to cut their own costs or this was simply one off. I definitely recommend passing on this pair.
