Great book
The book goes over concepts well. I haven't had a lot of time to go over it in depth, but from what I have read I can recommend it.

Great projects and subjects in this edition
This book is quite thorough, and gives the ROS beginner an excellent introduction in the first 2 chapters. Then it goes on to 3D modeling and simulations with various programs that work with ROS. It covers how to use ROS for navigation, and even advanced topics like servo controllers. There are chapters on interfacing with I/O sensors and board activators, actuators, vision sensors, differential drives...and THEN it gets into the advanced stuff. In this advanced section are many things like creating plugins, controllers and nodelets; working with Matlab, industrial robots, and so much more. If you want a book to cover almost anything you could want to use a robot for, this is the book for you.

I recommend this book!
This book is quite practical. As a beginner of ROS, I feel very comfortable getting started with the examples this book provided. You have to be patient to finish this book since it has 500+ pages :). Overall, it is an awesome book worth reading! Thanks, authors!
