I’ve got to be honest, I’ve never been a fan of the door curtain at the front door…..there’s a stigma for me as my gran had one back in the 70’s. I’ve definitely changed my mind receiving this lovely door curtain….and sealed it totally with the huge rising energy costs. We’ve got a uPVC front door, but I think there’s a draft around most doors, however good they are. Most of our draft comes from a cat flap as well. This door curtain is a game changer. Noticeably different straight away to the temperature in our hallway now this curtain is up. I was quite shocked how effective it is, and it’s been a really mild October & November so far as well. This is a really beautiful looking curtain. It’s a lovely plain grey colour which is dark enough to not show lots of marks. The material of the curtain is very smooth and silky feeling. Soft to touch and feels and looks classy and expensive. Been finished and stitched really well and same colour both sides. The best thing is the width of this curtain. Being 66” width it gives good gathering so it hangs nicely and is not pulled straight across. I bought a 52” width one and when fully pulled across the front door width there was no gathering. Gathers are my personal preference obviously. It’s good at blocking out the light and it’s not too thick so it restricts the door opening. I wouldn’t want this curtain up all year round (just prefer it without) but want to keep as much draft out as possibly during these expensive energy inflations and cost of living rises. Every little helps. I bought a spring loaded tension rod to put this curtain up, which works brilliantly and is great for taking the weight of this fairly lightweight curtain. Looks really smart and is very energy efficient. This curtain is a great investment. Looks more expensive than it is. Really Good door curtain for £18.57. Needed an iron before hanging to look fabulous. Cheaper than Dunelm and The Range for quality. Love it.

Emma Barclay Cali Eyelet - Woven Thermal Blackout Eyelet Door Curtain in Grey - Width 66" x 84"Drop (168x213cm) We bought this to cover our front door over this winter period. Firstly the sizing was spot on and the quality is brilliant. The thermal properties of this product were noted the first night of use. We live in an old house so drafts are a common feature even though everything is double glazed. What a difference this curtain has made. It was great to be able to get the unconventional sizes offered too. Summing up this curtain is excellent for draft exclusion and available in a variety of colours and sizes to suit most situations.

Good value for money, it depends what you using it for, I tried it on my front door worked a treat, keeps any draughts out, is a fresh colour especially in a small dark hallway, lightweight , not very thick but I expected that , it's a good price, great for what you pay I would buy again.

It looks good and keeps out the cold.
