Looks Nice, But Has Its Issues
I've been on the fence about this particular figure since I first saw it, but having it in hand, it's better than I'd feared. The body is remarkably chunky in comparison to other, similarly sized raptors from Mattel for the sake of the action feature. The paintjob is incredibly drab, but if you're a fan of Ted Brothers/The Jurassic Park Compound, you can see that all it needs is a little TLC, and it becomes obvious that Mattel is doing the great sculpts a disservice by giving them lackluster paintjobs.The action feature is new for Mattel. You turn the body and it mimics a claw swipe. It's not that great. If, say, turning the tail did this, it would be a much better feature.Because of the chunky body, its balance is a bit odd, and it can be hard to keep it standing. Shouldn't be a problem for kids, but since this will be sitting on my shelf after a paint modification, it's an issue.6/10, but bump it up one if you're not a collector like me.

A solid figure from Mattel
Behind the scenes this figure had a last minute, cost reducing, change to it's action feature that doesn't pan out. The swinging claw motion was originally tied to a button on it's lower back, which can still faintly be seen. This was changed to a pull back and let go motion for the front half of the dino. I wish the button would have stayed instead of the last minute change up. I think kids will think it's ok, but there are a lot of better raptors out there and Mattel is always cracking out a new one every other month.Pro-Decent figure that kids will be happy withCons-The action feature is not up to par with other figures in it's range
