I have used this wine opener countless times and can each case gave great results. The quality in both materials and construction is very good too. As such have given this wine opener as gifts and therecipients have thanked me every time. We had two corkscrews like this. One was from a winery in California and it got lost somewhere. The other one was very old and the knife edge part cracked one day, so we ordered two of these and they work just like our others did. So glad to have them.

The foil cutter is great, but the rest of the appliance is, well cheap feeling and awkward to use.

Seems like a decent corkscrew and foil cutter, but it is most likely a Franmara Boomerang knockoff. Now that doesn't mean that it is a bad corkscrew but it is not authentic. I ordered another one from a different listing and compared them... Everything from the finish. And branding. It's clear this is most likely a counterfeit. FYI, returned

This little thing is the best thing ever! If you’re a waiter in fine/semi fine dining and you have to open wine at tables, this is your best friend. The foil cutter is a life saver! Although…If you need to open beer bottles, this is not it! So I keep a bottle opener in me also.
