So impressed with this product.
I recently purchased a vintage VW van that was really tired inside. It was lined with dirty grey felting and I couldn’t afford to get it relined as it would have costed £1000’s. I decided to give this fabric paint a go. I mixed the green and white and got a lovely sage green. I was very sceptical as first and wasn’t convinced it would work. I tested it on a small area which wasn’t visible and I was so impressed. Even though the felt was ridged, it sunk into the fabric and coloured it beautifully. I tried a number of different brushes and sponges and found a medium paint brush the best. I sprayed the fabric first with water which is essential I think, and stippled the colour on so it went into the ridges. The result is fantastic!!! I’ve used 2 bottles of white and one on green so far, but will need to order another two to finish the ceiling and boot. Although the paint is quite expensive and it’s costed me over £100, that is nothing compared to what I would have spent refelting it. It’s also added so much value to the camper van . I’m so pleased I’m going to purchase another bottle to paint a tired chair I have. Thank you for this product and I’ll post a picture when finished.

Lovely colour and easy to use
Really pleased with this. It’s brought my very faded bathroom rug back to its original colour. Easy to use, no mess. My rug is a bit patchy close up but that’s because it’s a 4’x4’ and one bottle was not quite enough

Judge for yourself how much you need.
I bought a 250 ml bottle hoping it would sufficient for my bucket chair. Its now dried, but it is patchy, I'm going to buy another 250 ml bottle, I think that will be sufficient. I think the product is good, really its up the individual's judgment to know how much is needed. I bought my chair from British Heart Foundation charity, it was an absolute bargain at £20! I just want to transform it from a weak mustard to a rich gold.

Worth it
I used this fabric paint on a velvet upholstered bed (headboard and sides). The colour is nice, but one litre was not enough and the coverage was uneven. The spray bottle I used clogged, so I had to use a brush and sponge. Dark grey did not come out rich enough, so I got black colour instead and needed multiple coats. It works for small fabric projects, but for large furniture you need much more paint than expected and a lot of effort and patience and turst the process. I will definitely recommend as this transform my bed.

AWFUL COLOUR! It’s green not dark grey!!
Be very careful! This is not a dark grey, but a dark green!!! Yes I tried a small area on the heel where it didn’t look too green, but… I don’t see how this can be advertised as gunmetal?!! I have used the same product in black on shoes and chair cushions, and been impressed but this is colour is awful.

Easy to use
I was considering getting dye for this bag, however with the different materials I was concerned that it wouldn't take or it needed to be heavily prepped before hand. With this fabric dye it was super easy, washed the bag first and used a spray bottle to dampen it. Used a beard brush (same consistency as a boot brush) and it went on really well and covered the colour quickly and stayed well. It is currently drying but can't tell that it was ever a purple bag! I will definitely be using this again! UPDATE - after washing the bag it's kind of gone to a dirty denim grey - still usable and maybe needed another coat but that would have cost more. Still usable

Great for DIY project, car restoration
I used this fabric dye paint on my car seat belts they were originally cream but over time stained with dirt that wouldn't wash off so I dyed them to match the other parts of the interior brown and cream looks nice and smart now I also used abit in the cream leather steering wheel that was also stained with macanic greece oil and dirt wasn't sure it would work it's fabric dye bit still worked on my steering wheel It's not watery runny dye it's like paint thick and easy to apply it says 2 hrs to dry but It was hot day so it dried fast small bottle but it done 5 seat belts and a steering wheel still tiny bit left in bottle case I need it So if your doing a big project might need more then one bottle 5 starts off me doenst rib off on my clothing it's great dye paint

Yes yes yes just do it!!! You won't regret!
Okay, so going to level with you all. I used half as much as recommended as I'm cheap and wanted a quick fix for my manky ikea grey sofa that very early on looked faded and roughhhhh. So before investing in totally new covers (custom as they don't make our sofa anymore, so would be minimum £350) I decided to give this a bash. I used 3 parts paint to 1 part water dilution- they don't say to do this, like I said, I'm cheap. I washed the original covers and whilst they were still wet, over a series of 3 days, repeatedly painted being sure to concentrate on anything obviously visible and the piping edges. Yes it's a bit messy - I probably would advise gloves but hey, I'm an unorganized person so I did sport blue hands for a couple days afterwards. Overall pretty easy to use a d paint, make sure the fabric you're applying it to is wet as it does soak in and look more natural rather than just painted on top. I painted on a patchy dark grey sofa with the blue paint and the colour playoff is fabulous!! Would for sure recommend for any quick fixes or up cycles anyone is doing. I've tried on other furniture in the past with other brands and can honestly say this was the best I've used yet. Very effective and great coverage. Do it!! Just go for it!!

Very disappointed. I bought two of these to do a project. But after applying the second bottle it turned out they were different colors, which ruined the project.

Ottimo prodotto.

Color comes out thin. Poor coverage and I used the entire bottle on a small ottoman and it looked horrible so I had to buy another brand to cover. See how blotchy from my picture.
