Better results than the 3M machine
This laminator gave me the results I expected from the similar 3M machine. The 3M 5 mil pouches are great, but I'd frequently get bubbles with the 3M laminator. So I ordered this, and I'm glad I did. It's basically the same machine, but after seven letter-sized, 5 mil laminations, I've got seven perfectly laminated documents and no bubbles—not even on the edges. The 3M manual tells you that it may be necessary to put 5 mill sheets through the machine twice, but I've never had the need with the Amazon Basics version.My machine heats up in almost exactly one minute and is easy to use as any other machine—just feed it in. But your attention can be on aligning the document in the pouch, and not on bubbles.

The best laminator I have ever owned! I love that you have both options for 3mm and 5mm. Also so quick! It heats up very fast, worth every penny!

Don’t waste your money. Doesn’t last.
Doesn’t last. It stopped heating up after 5 uses and no longer functions properly. I’m a teacher and need to laminate my student posters today for an end of year celebration but now I can’t and I’m left scrambling and likely will have to buy a new one out of my personal funds. Find a better brand.

Working great for some work documents I wanted to hang on the wallls in my work van and not have them damaged by wind and humidity. Machine works well and super easy
