This hot water bottle is the best. Doesn't have funny smell, the size is perfect and soft. I use it for my abdomen pain and it's been a relief. If you have painful period this will be your favorite thing. I wish I have found it a while ago.

Soft, secure and functional
This bottle is less than 2 litres, so it may seem on three small size. For me is great, not to bulky. Easy to fill up and empty without taking the cover off.The cover is not actually designed to be taken off when the bottle is full.People are complaining about bad smell, mine doesn't smell at all.Very secure stopper.To be on the safe side I never fill the bottle to the brim but leave an inch to the top and squeeze out the excess air before screwing on the stopper
