The best for your senior dog.

We started using Orijen Senior when my dog - a wire fox terrier - turned ten years old. He is 15 now and still doing great. We feed him this for breakfast everyday, and cook for his dinner. While this dog food is expensive, it is worth every penny. As you can tell from the photo, even with my dog's advanced age his fur still has vibrant colors. I previously had two other wire fox terriers years ago, was not feeding them Orijen (didn't even know about it at the time), and by the time they reached about 12 years old, they had lost all their colors and turned completely white/grey.You will quickly notice the high quality whenever you open the bag, the food is still quite moist and fresh.We did in the past give him other Orijen food, but have stuck with the senior since it seems to really help him maintain a healthy digestive system.If you have an older dog, I implore you to feed them this excellent dog food!

good quality food but too rich for my dog

This is an incredible product for use of ingredients. My dog loved the flavor but sadly, it gave her loose stools. The protein content is very high and since she's elderly, it was too much for her.

My senior yorkie terrier LOVES ORIJEN

The media could not be loaded. I received the ORIJEN® Senior Dog 4.5 LB Dry Dog Food from home tester club to test and review and this is my honest opinion. My senior female yorkie terrier LOVES ORIJEN DRY DOG FOODS. This is the 2nd time we are trying a dry dog food from this brand. I'm sooo thankfull I found this brand thru home tester club! I noticed right away that her bowel movements werent so stinky and more moist. Which is a good thing because her stomach wasn't tolerating her previous brand of dog food. She also munches on it thru out the day. I also like the ingredients are pictured and listed on the bag. We are def a fan of orijen dry dog foods over here. I also like the packaging. It's easy to pour and close back up! even my toddler can do it😆 with no mess! Overall 100% recommend! It's worth the purchase and I believe dogs really enjoy the flavor! I WONDEr if they have Dog treats? Hmm... Thanks Orijen for making a great product!

Good but might go back to standard fit/trim

Pup loves orijen fit and trim weight management but the sr version wasn’t her favorite. Quality was good and good ingredients list.Pup wasn’t super fond of the taste though it seems.

The Only Kibble That Smells Like Real Food

First thing I noticed right when opening the bag is it actually smelled like fish. Normally I’d say that’s a bad thing since nobody likes a fishy smell but for my dog, she absolutely goes crazy for it. I’ve had my german shepherd for 8 years and tried almost all the kibble out there. NOT ONCE has she eaten the kibble plain by itself. I normally have to cook up real food and mix it in. I put a cup of this down with no topping and it was gone in 30 seconds.It might be more expensive but when I factor in all the extra meal toppers I’m going to be saving on it isn’t that much more.
