I have had a Cocoon chair for years with no great place to hang it. I decided to hang it indoors from the ceiling of our kids' playroom. The ceiling is angled, so I wanted hardware that would accommodate an angle. This one had good ratings and looked like what I needed. The package was heavy; everything seems super sturdy. Using a stud finder, I was able to easily find a joist to hang it from. The joists in that room are 8 or 10 inches, I believe. I drilled a pilot hole (i don't recall what size exactly) and then used a screwdriver to twist the whole thing in. The trickiest part is if you need to remove the U-shaped hook. It's easy to remove, but it has two nylon washers that are difficult to get into place when inserting the pin. Anyway, the thing has been rock solid and has easily held myself and my three kids (probably close to 300 lbs) without issue. I would definitely consider buying this again should I need another.

These are great and very versatile, I use them to hang swings and everything in between. There easy to install and i know for my kids the wont fall out or break.

Ik heb heel bewust gezocht naar schommelscharnieren met lagers en ze bevallen heel goed, lopen erg soepel en houden de schommels lang in beweging. Enige minpunt is dat de scharnieren bij het nest schommel niet helemaal op zn plek blijven. Deze lopen er een beetje uit naar de zijkant. Hiervoor zitten er consistorie ringetjes naast het lager maar deze zijn van een te zacht materiaal. Verder zijn ze echt van mooie zware kwaliteit en draai je ze makkelijk in een ( voorgeboord) gat in de balken met een steeksleutel!
