Not Sage Mint
This should be eucalyptus licorice mint sage. The flavors taste astringent and smell a bit like pee (to me). I wish I would have realized there was more going on than just sage and mint (flavors and smells I love). This brand of tea tends to be both good and complex so this was disappointing. But hey, if you want to drink potentially toxic eucalyptus, or love it's smell, or aren't phased by it's use in tea, go for it.

healthy and tasty
I drank this after surgery and enjoyed the health benefits and taste both. My son loved it after his tonsil surgery and is now hooked on it.

Subtle but tasty herbal tea
This organic mint sage tea has a very subtle flavor. It's well-balanced with the taste of none of its seven ingredients predominating. Sage has a very distinctive flavor and I was expecting this herbal tea to feature it up front, but it was something of a surprise to find it slightly submerged in the background. It's still there, but the mint and lemon flavors are equally as strong and quite delicious. The licorice and lavender add some richness and complexity to the mixture. This is the first herbal tea that I've sampled from Choice Organics - owned by the same company that manufactures Yogi Tea - and I found it to be excellent.Incidentally, sage is a member of the mint family and has some important uses as an herbal remedy, especially for relieving digestive problems. It is also being studied for its impact on brain chemistry. Some of the other ingredients in this tea - peppermint, spearmint, eucalyptus and licorice - have all been herbal remedies for centuries, especially for treating respiratory issues. Lavender has something of a relaxing and calming impact on the nervous system. Lemon just plain tastes good and is an aromatherapy relaxant.

Finally an Organic product that tastes great and is listed on the USDA site.
Finally a product on Amazon that claims to be USDA certified organic and I was able to verify that they are indeed certified. So a big plus to the East West Tea Company, LLC for using the USDA Organic logo properly and actually being certified.Upon opening the Choice Organics - Organic Mint Sage Tea the mint aroma washes over you and is refreshing. The tea itself has a flavor that changes after brewing. When it is fresh brewed and piping hot you really only taste the sage, however as it cools and gets down to temperature where you can drink it without scorching your tongue, all the other flavors come out and it has a delightful mix of mint, sage, lemon, and other flavors. It doesn't even need sweetener as the flavor is outstanding without it.I'm really excited to try some more of their teas if they are all this good. It's also a very reasonably priced organic product.
