I bought it for a neighbor's dog it's a really beautiful bed and it has plenty of cushion on the bottom but I think the blanket part is sewn over too much but I would imagine you could get a seam splitter and take some of that out.

This medium bed is perfect for my 40-pound fur baby who loves to burrow and snuggle into tight spaces. The bed is incredibly soft and high quality. If your dog is a similar size but prefers more room to stretch out, I’d recommend sizing up to a large.

Just buy this - I bought a few others first but I should have just bought this one to start. I have a 5 pound Yorkie and the small bed could easily fit two of them. He finally slept all night in this bed. Excellent quality, super warm (the attached blanket does cover the whole bed). Great value and shipped quick!
