Q: The alarm clock stopped working, is there a magic trick to this ? I would like to change but my return window has passed a few weeks ago.

Have you changed the batteries? We've had both ours for a long time and they still work perfect. My daughter dropped hers once from her top bunk and it wouldn't work, I changed the batteries and it was just fine.

Q: What does the alarm sound like? Buying for a 6 y/o and don't want to freak her out!

A short light beeping sound - much better than the "Hello Kitty" alarm, which could double as a fog horn. :-)

No its not. Looked again, just to make sure

Never snoozed with it, just woke up when it went off. But, like that it's progressive. Light beeps, then increases in intensity to it's maximum sound which is not airplane mode! But, all that being said, I LOVE MY LITTLE GREEN SQUARE! Especially useful when it's dark, hit the snooze button and it light up so I can see what time it is, LOVE that feature! Alarm is really easy to set and turn off. And it's small and compact, great for traveling with!!!
