I would love for Hillary and the Donald to read this and ...
I'm at least 30 years older than Lindsey, but I have gone through exactly the same things she has. For me, it's because I am at last working on my life project (modeling the human body dynamics from the DNA out to our tissues) and I'm estimating I'll need to live to 120 with a healthy brain to even make a dent in that project. I can emphasize with every thing she is saying, and it's all true.IMHO, not only adults but every child should read this, guy or gal, regardless of what kind of work they do or aspire to do. I would love for Hillary and the Donald to read this and get with the program. Strong is not just beautiful (and Lindsey certainly is beautiful) but is essential to life long success in anything we are doing.This is the kind of advice I wish I had many years ago. Hopefully, it is not too late for me and others my age. The science shows that using the methods she talks about will eliminate 80% to 90% of the lifestyle diseases (cancer, diabetes, heart disease) that make our last 10 years extremely painful and kill us before we can deliver the community value that older people are capable of providing in our culture.

Loved It!
After suffering two ACL injuries and being able to come back stronger than ever, I love Lindsey's take on the mental and physical aspects of going through an injury. The nutritional guidance is so spot on and really drives home the point there is no one size fits all meal plan that will help you lose AND maintain the weight lost! That has to all come from you and should be based around your preferences! Loved going through the exercises and seeing ones I can incorporate into my day to day routine! The book is overall 10/10 and exactly what I wish all women would pick up when they decide to start working out or changing their lifestyle!

Strong = Fit
I read the entire book the day it arrived and nearly wore out my highlighter - so much great information! Now I'm re-reading it and incorporating a lot of the material into my physical training routine.Lindsey has an exceptional story and great philosophy on the importance of focusing on being strong rather than on just losing weight. It is clear that being thin doesn't necessarily equate with being fit. I was already working with a personal trainer, but this book kicked my motivation to a much higher level.

good read but nothing new
This book had some interesting tidbits, but I didnt feel I learned anything I don't alteady know when it comes to diet and fitness. Perhaps this is geared more to beginners. I did enjoy her positive outlook and validation regarding womens bodies.

Great for parents and children
We bought for our daughter who is on ski team and it is the first book since Covid she hasn’t put down. She used to be a very avid reader until Covid. Now she takes this book with her and has re-read it!

We all need to stay strong and work on it.
Lindsey is very realistic and has a down to earth approach which is refreshing. It's not all about being skinny and I happen to completely agree with her being strong is so important especially as we age. I look at folks and is easy to tell who works out and puts in the time and effort. I must do more myself and her book, ideas, food, and bravery is spurring me on.It also happens to be a modest cover shot as she is a stunner.
