I have another more stronger scratching post, which I keep in the bedroom and she loves it. But I need another one form the living area to stop her from going at the couch so purchased this one. It does the job. I keep sprinking catnip on it to attract the cat to it. She lays at the base ALL day, plays with the fussy ball, but really doesn't use it as a scratching post. Its ok, but the base could be sturdier. My cat, Nikita is very weird .

She doesn't yet use it for a scratching post but she loves to climb up it and bat the feathers and then even backs down using her claws. The base is heavy and sturdy and supports her way easily as she runs quickly up and down. She even sits on the shorter pad. The 3 week old foster kitten hasn't figured it out yet. Appreciated the little bag of catnip to rub on it. They are too young for the grooming pad that came with it.

This was super easy to assemble! Everything was included and put together in 15 minutes after I figured out which bolts go where. The dog took one gray ball off within the first day which was sad but after a few months my cat got the other ball off too. They were fun but he didn’t play with them that much. My cat is 15 lbs so every time he scratched he also tipped it over so I recommend putting something heavy on it so it doesn’t move or scare you when it falls back to the floor.

I just finished putting it together and my kitty is nuts about it.Because of the construction the tall scratching post isn’t very stable. If your cat is a chonk they will destroy it.

Comes with cat nip and he loves it!

So this cat scratching post is super cute and does work well, but the balls came off in less than a month of use. That’s disappointing because my two cats loved those balls.

So easy to assemble that I could do it without help from the spouse. My cats came up to it to play while I was still trying to build it! They love the balls on the string, though one has already broken off after a few months. The feathers are hanging on tight, which they love. They all scratch this thing constantly. With four very different cat personalities, it can be hard to find something they all like. Not very heavy so it can be moved for cleaned, but sturdy enough for them to feel comfortable playing and scratching.

All is great except the rotating top the crew doesn't fit. it is too short so we don't have the joy of the rotation on top
