I love these when I first saw them. I thought oh I have to try them. I like them. They got a little pop to them when you eat them and they’re so simple. I like my green, so yes, I enjoy it.

Well I had always wanted to try sea grapes, and for the first time I finally have. Honestly, it really is something you either love or hate, but for me, I really did love it; followed the pack instructions step by step, and it turned out perfect. It's a relatively small box which contains six 20 gram serving. First impression when opening a sachet is that it's a tiny, slimy lump of dark green seaweed (the sea grapes are obviously preserved in brine). But when soaked in cold water for two or three minutes, the expand to double, almost treble the size and become a bright transparent green. I do agree with one or two of the reviews on here - they do need to be eaten immediately, otherwise they do shrink again rather quickly. Flavour is what you should expect of any seaweed: has a slight saline, slimy flavour at first followed by flavours of the ocean. Most enjoyable though is the fantastic crunch/pop these sea grapes have, very much like caviar. I enjoyed mine with a small dipping of soy sauce. If you love seaweed as a snack or part of a meal, then price aside, I definitely recommend trying this. Will buy again.

I think people are over dramatic when they say seagrapes taste super fishy and salty?? If you imagine the faint smell of the sea at a beach that's what they taste like. They're subtle and crunchy and really good on their own or with sauces. Easy to make and the portion is generous. Slightly expensive but worth it for how big the portions are in each pack.
